After asking quite a fair bit of questions and looking for LG Roboking users for review I didn't get the info I wanted...

I did a bit more research on my own & found this... I wanted to share this info about the mopping (Wiping) function on the Roboking... This is actually how it looks like...

I had a roboking since may this year, must say it is superb. If you don't mind some dust and dirt in corners, like me, then roboking can do all your sweeping task. I follow up by using Scooba to mop, job done. I have not lifted my broom or mop since, except to clean the toilet. But sadly my roboking stopped working 3 days ago. Still waiting for seller to help me as I bought mine online.

My mum has a roboking from Courts, got it free from May bank promotion. Courts selling $799, it's different model from mine. Has been working well too.

How about compare to iRobot Roomba?

How about compare to iRobot Roomba?

To me the Roboking wins hands down...

The reason why I say this is because the Roboking cleans in a systematic versus the Roomba that cleans in a very random way... I know Roomba users will say that the Roomba will clean better due to the way is cleans... The Roomba does multiple passes over the same area... But it also takes a longer time to clean... To me even if you run the Roboking twice over the same area it would be faster if not cleaner than using the Roomba...

Although I dun own a roomba, but I tend to agree that roboking is better as its more efficient. This is precisely why I bought roboking. Also another point is roboking does not need regular servicing, whereas roomba does. Find the roboking and Scooba combo works very well for me. Now considering whether to buy mint plus for daily light mopping to lighten my Scooba workload.

I actually want to find out more about the Roboking... Are you using the square model? Can you post some review on your robovac?

Like in terms of cleanliness is it good?

Does it do the corners well?

Did you use the mop function? Did you use it wet?

Does it get stuck on floor mats? Cables or wires?

Noise level?

I would really appreciate it if you could share your experiences... Thanks

Price if I'm not wrong will be around $799 but this is for the older round model that is selling at Courts...

Currently only Vachel is selling this locally...

The Roboking is really as good as the reviews are...

After only one round today this is what it picked up... I actually clean the house every week but it still managed to pick up so much dirt... Great buy!!!

I will be using this everyday & compliment this with my Scooba 380 from now on...

Just bought my 6260 from autovac... The 6260 systematic mapping is indeed very thorough... and it can avoid obstacle pretty well... the wet wipe function is fantastic... even though the brushes and vacuum picks up majority of the dust... the microfiber clothes will go for the final kill... The only bad thing is the machine is in Korean... and when the machine speak in Korean... you dunno what it is about... maybe it is trying to tell me it is stuck or not plug in properly?

Had bought the scooba 380 from them as well... but i couldn't say the same for it... i am rather disappointed... although Vincent from autovac did a demonstration and that my unit was working when he delivered it... I couldn't get it to work the next day... The 380 was not sucking in the water and the dirty tank was completely dry... luckily i didn't let it run unattended the first time... else i would have flooded my area... I contacted Vincent and asked him for troubleshooting methods... he suggested putting in more Magic Clean solution and try to flush the inlet to clear any chokage... Tried once it wasn't working... and Vincent assured me they would change for me on the spot if really faulty when they come to check... The next day i try flushing it with higher pressure of water... and it worked this time... the 380 is able to suck in the dirty water now... I am not sure if it was a user problem or is the machine prone to chokage(despite only used it once for demo, i will continue to monitor it)?

Now for the performance... i will say i am disappointed... Firstly the 380 is too wet for my liking... after the clean water tank is empty and it goes into the drying mode... it did not cover the whole area even though it is just a small square room... you can see the random water trail the 380 had run thru... Next i tried it on my homogeneous tiles... it performed even more poorly... the 380 rubber blade beneath seems have a lot of fiction with the floor and it cannot travel smoothly throughout... i think becoz of this... it is unable to navigate properly thus cozing it to dry the area poorly... I can see watermark everywhere... i am unsure if this is normal... will try a few more times to see izzit becoz my tiles are new and thus so much friction...

Hi, I am a newbie and looking to buy robot vacuum. I am on research now to see which one to purchase because there are just too many reviews around.

Can anyone help to share with me whether Roomba 780 or the latest Lg Roboking VR6260LVM is better? I am looking for a powerful unit that can vacuum better. Are they doing the same job? Seem like LG Roboking VR6260LVM has mopping function as well.

LG older models doesn't seem to do a good job as review everywhere, but this new model has receive quite alot of good reviews and seems to rocks

There isn't much comparison between this two models anywhere around. Can anyone here share which is a better buy?

I have 3 dogs at home and I need the robo vacuum to help me clean up the fur around everyday.

Cheers

Robot vaccum cleaners would definitely work on laminated wood and assist greatly in the cleaning and maintenance of your home.
For the size of your home, may want to consider a model that cleans and navigates systematically.
The latest LG Roboking 6260 LVM ($858) may be a good choice and comes with a mocrofiber cloth attachment which allows for secondary wiping, which is ideal for laminates as you properly do not want to get it too wet.

Can checkout the Videos of the New LG Roboking Square here.

Just purchase a lg 6260 model ran it for the first time last night. It takes about 45 mins to clean 90 sqm house.
Able to clean wall and furniture edges. The way it navigates and clean is quite smart and works in the dark as well. Tnigt i will try out the wet mop feature. Cool!

So the Robo King Wet Mop is a seperate run or it do it together?

Is the RoboKing's Wet Mop similar to the Mint?

I will probably use it in this manner. I will run roboking first to clean the whole house. Then attach the microfibre cloth to wet mop plate to roboking and run roboking for each room. After roboking finish mopping for each room, remove the cloth, wash it and reattach to roboking. Repeat this for each room/area.

There is no water reservoir in roboking. It is basically just attaching a wet cloth to roboking. Therefore you need to wash the cloth when it is dirty and reattach to roboking.

It is not the same as mint plus where it has water reservoir to clean the cloth.

You can run both at the same time but i don't think it is a good idea. Once the floor is wet, dust and hair will stick on the floor and roboking may not be able to clean the dirt.

I need to try out more on the wet mop, but as for sweeping the floor is concern, its does a good job.

Tried wet mop feature last night.

This is how I use wet mop.
- Prepare kiwi clean floor solution mix with water.
- Wet mircofibre cloth and attach to LG 6260.
- Go to bedroom place LG 6260 in the middle of the room and close the door.
- After 10 mins, deattach and clean cloth after robot has finish cleaning the room. Reattach cloth to LG 6260.
- Repeat the above step for each room and kitchen.

The result is the same as using 3M mop to wet mop the floor.

Conclusion:
- LG 6260 perform well in vaccum cleaning. Able to clean wall edges as well and does not bump into furniture before recognising it as a obstacle. Takes 45 mins to clean 90sqm house.
- Wet mop is a addon feature. It's work great for me as i'm using 3M floor mop to mop my floor. Because of this wet mop feature, i don't have to buy scooba to clean my floor. Save some money.

Thumbs up for LG 6260. :D
