that's relatively good news, seeing that everywhere else in the world has no news EXCEPT for south korea.
i believe google has made LG hold back on the release of the v20 till the pixel phones are released.

Maybe 12 October is an announcement for local release of LG V20, not local release date.

Korean media had already confirmed last week that the device will go on sale in the country on September 29, which is perfectly inline with the time-frame the company has now announced.

LG has also said that other markets - including North America, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East - will get the phone "over the course of the next several weeks," lending further credence to rumors that the US launch is scheduled for October 21.

It's either on the Oct 12, Oct 14 or November. 😆 Hopefully there will be an official announcement by next week.
