Btw guys . those staying at East side I brought a transparent tpu at tampiness mall lvl3 beside the escalator , call namh.com. The fit is perfect and camera area got a slight bump to protect when you lie down flat. Most importantly is only $10.

Dislike how vrs and spigen hide the sexy metal back :).

Just sharing !

BT bypasses the internal DAC yes

However the V20 is a aptX HD device, which supposedly means higher bitrate BT streaming. I just don't know if both devices need to support the codec for it to work

What sort of bit rate ?'

So no point playing loseless using bluetooth headset ?

That's nice. I am waiting to get it. Meanwhile using clear tpu. :D :D
Yeah man! Haha. I actually dropped my phone on Sunday with the free "premium" cover.. so at least crystal case will make me rest easy now hahah.

Side note, the case is higher than the camera hump, but IMO I find it still a lil too shallow. But that's what you get for a "slimmer" profile case. Still happy with it hahah.

Already eyeing the uag plasma ice for my next case haha.

have to agree on this once again. been using the phone for around a week plus and the photos on auto mode came out pretty washed out. out of an average 5 shots, only 1-2 will turn out decent.

the manual mode is no doubt one of the best in the market though but its a phone camera and users generally want a device that can perform decently when it comes to "point and shoot" to capture that very moment instead of spending time to tweak all the settings to get a proper photo.

if we can ignore the shortcomings of the camera, audio/screen/video/battery are all excellent with this phone.

I think the washout happens cos the stock app aggressively tries to reduce RGB noise, an inherent problem in LG photo quality, even in ISO levels as low as 100-200

If it were still early 2015, LG camera would still be worth mentioning as a top contender because it had the widest aperture, and other flagships didnt even have manual mode yet. back then it was the king of low light that HTC ultrapixels wanted to be, but never could.

But the reality is the rest of the industry has caught up. And not only do they offer manual mode, but they offer auto mode that works better. While its true that LG has great manual mode UI, anyone can easily get a 3rd party app like Camera FV5 with equally good manual mode UI and use it on a Samsung or HTC.

If we talk about low light even, LG has lost the crown, Im pretty sure the V20 is still using 1.12 micron pixels unlike the other companies which shifted to the mindset of bigger pixels at slightly less resolution.

Still waiting for someone to recommend a good 3rd party app for auto mode photo taking on the V20

Not that it matter most to me cos I hardly take photo with my phone camera anyway.
