I used my V20 line out to my Samsung system and I can still adjust volume on my V20

I see, I got my answer from headfi already.

There's no real line out from the V20 so my best bet is a double amping if I were to use an external amp.

Hope this helps anyone else seeking the same question.

Using the original cable? I do get this message when I use my other phones' cables.

Nope. I charge my V20 using the original and the USB Type C cable bought form Qoo10, both are working fine.

Quality of the cable matters. I've used a cable that cannot fast charge and a cable that cannot transfer data.

Highly likely is your cable problem. I bought 2x 3rd party cables just to keep my original. One gave way after an overseas trip with that error you have. Another showed signs like you had - intermittent but now seems to be fine. Bought another LG USB-C cable from Qoo10 to replace the faulty one. If it prolongs, best you buy a new cable.

got it to restart but this problem started after disabling auto update for software check. apps will hang in middle of using & phone will become black screen. just discovered it had sync function on as well. just turned it off.

what does it sync anyway? anything to do w e problem? what could be causing it? if send in servicing under warranty, will they give spare phone?

Anyone tried using magnetic charging cable before? If yes, what is the current rating that u got?

My guess is , one of the apps are fooling around , try disable recently download apps or deleted and see how .

I suggest you to stick with the redmi note series, as they are well known for their battery life. If battery life is the most important to u, you can consider the mi max series.

The battery life on v20 is bad for heavy users. Unless you don't mind getting a zerolemon battery to x3 the capacity and should last 2-3days no problem.

If you can top up at lunch break or little by little during the day, I think it should be fine.

I can be considered somewhat heavy user. After one morning will go down to 50%. Lunch I charge again while I nap, usually take 30 mins to get 40-50% with fast charging. Then can run all through the rest of the day with little top up one or twice each time like 15-30 mins

V20 doubt can last thru a day with mid to heavy usage. Screen on time is probably around 3 hours odd only.

not true lah, battery life where got so cui. i play my brown farm, surf edmw, airplane game etc max also drop to 20% nia. so far also din touch my spare battery & powerbank.

I would say the battery life is decent. Not bad, not great.

My previous V10 was struggling to hit 3hr 30mins per full charge - but still able to last full day for my kind of usage

Current set up: Dual Sim with Second Screen enabled.

My day starts at 6am and will reach home probably around 830pm with roughly 40% which is fine for me.

I would say that I'm a light-medium user with instagram, twiiter, snapchat etc. Surfing web and youtube streaming. Most i have gotten was around 4hr 30mins - 5hr screen on time. And yeah, I don't play games on my main phone, have my Mi Max for that lol

Stand by time for this phone is excellent tho. Anyway as long it can last me when I'm out, I'm good. Fast charging is super useful

I would say its a good phone with decent battery life and to listen music with.

Works well as a decent DAP after upgrading to another phone too.
