Looks like the Americans are getting their H3s

https://www.reddit.com/r/lgv20/comments/5aqtxq/headphones_arrived_unboxed_and_tested/

the packaging is nothing like the retail packaging for the H3s btw, they certainly don't come in a plain white box

vs LG

the H3's are almost a third of the cost of the handset, no way they'd be getting the full package
The cost of a H3 to B&O is probably very low. Maybe even less than $10. They probably packaged it differently so people can't buy the V20 and sell it off as this will affect the sales of their H3.

which home style are u using, I am using "home and app" and able to select which panel is the home when I press the circle button.
long press on screen wallpaper->long press on screen wallpaper->select default home panel by tapping to highlight the home icon on the top right of the panel u wish to set.
I'm using the other LG Home launcher, didn't see a need for the app drawer in the 4.0 Home & App launcher as I'm ok with the iOS-style icon layout

will screw around in 4.0 for a bit and see see

I think it's not very fair to compare AK100/120 lah. AK100 all that jitao built from ground up for music quality and probably cost more than our phone. I can however tell you it's very close to the FiiO X1 that I have for performance.

X1? Nah it trumps the X1 for sure. I'd say the stock x1 is decent only. Needs external amp to improve the sound signature.

Daps are really a matter of your personal preference for each brand's sound signature. I wouldn't touch the aks as the signature is too surgical for my liking.

there is default home panel selection and looping for "home & app" but not so for "home".

Hmmm, I think X1 is a bit better, but I wasn't really listening to it for long.

Haha OK. I was using the x1 lined out to a q govibe magnum amp for over a year before I switched to my current cowon plenue m, so to me the V20 sounds much better compared to the amped x1. Go demo the x1 further ba. It's a decent dap for the price. Just need to eq a bit and amp it

Haha OK. Enjoy! The dacs on the V20 can give the burr browns on the cowons a good fight le. Get a decent earphone to enjoy the V20 to the fullest

Planning on getting this soon. Would like to ask, where do you guys get an extra battery for the v20?

From what I've read, battery seems to drain quite fast, so would like to prepare by getting a spare battery. :s13:

Cheers!

Anyone done any comparison of the quality of the DAC compare to those standalone DAP ?

At what level will it rank ?

AK100/120

Or lower end like those Sony/Cowon/Irive DAP ?

I am going to cold storage my aging ak120 gen 1 for now.
Using v20 as my main music player

I struggle with 4+ hours SOT on my previous V10. This phone battery life I am happy and hitting minimum 6 to 7 hours SOT is common ( on mainly internet based stuffs). Another plus point its operating temperature is cooler than other SD820 phones I had used. Average in use is 30-35 degree C generally. BTW I don't do gaming at all

I got an iBasso IT03, quite decent enough right? :s13: The only next step for me would be a Campfire Vega.

Nah, customs just isn't for me. I just don't like the fixed feeling in my ear.

Haha ok. I can't do without my customs nowadays. Cannot stand complys or spin fit or any other types of tips. Want my music and not the background noise

You can buy extra batteries from the LG service center.
Don't know if they are selling the V20 batteries yet though.
That said, so far the battery is quite OK..
