I don't think so. The technician came to my house twice (very small issue) and I pay them nothing.

Did you call their svc centre or arrange thru their website for them to come down? Did you ask them if their were any on site service charge?

Thats right, under warranty, you need not to pay.
Just quoting what I saw from LG's support page :

MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY SUMMARY

Period of Coverage
Labor : 36 MONTHS
Parts : 36 MONTHS
On Site Labor charge : $130.00 (With GST : $139.10)
Warranty Policy : Accessories 1 year warranty

So when you request for service, they really don't ask for extra fee at all for on site?

Correct, they come to my place to check the TV once. No charge. Think the web site is refering to those small item that you are suppose to do carry in repair.

Yes, I tried both online and calling the hotline. never ask about the service charge.

one time they change the power and motherboard (some more import from Korea (took about 2-3weeks)) no charge at all.

another time very small issue...they just come and change the settings for me. also no charge.

Have made my purchase for the 47LM6700. Bought it at Courts Megastore @ Tampines. It was a made in Korea set.

Cash & carry @ $1688. Wall mount done on another day. Standard free gifts.

Set it up and watch football. The ghosting effects was quite obvious for the 1st game. Especially those high balls up the field, you can see a dark shadow behind the ball. Strange, it was gone during the 2nd game. Not quite sure it was due to the minor setting changes I made.

Overall, the picture quality looks very good. It was definitely value for money.

After pay liao.. go home suddenly realise that this model does not come with free Magic Remote!!! So mad. Call them... pk the salesman, cos when checking up various model i keep stressing I want a set with magic remote....Partly my fault too for not double checking the free gift... or miscommunication btw him and me cos I remember did ask him if any magic remote for 6410 and he nodded and say yes...but now when i called him he claimed otherwise la..

I made abit more noise saying if no magic remote, i dun buy liao...(can invoke lemon law this way?) Anyway the salesman quite nice.. say ask dealer if can sell me $50...or get a 2nd hand magic remote..or wateve3r la. New one is $130!! Argh... am I overreacting? Salesman keep trying to convince me use wireless keyboard or mouse better. I thought that magic remote shld be better when using its smart funcion rite> ? Easier to point and click at apps faster?~~

Am using Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse to navigate and type on LM 6410, really easy.

Latest: just bought Logitech k400r wireless keyboard with built-in touchpad to use with LM6410, no need separate mouse

So you went cold turkey for 2-3 weeks while waiting for parts to arrive?

Should be 7600 if bought from HN. Saw in HN Funan yesterday, also @ 1688 with LG free gift. Spec for 7600 is suppose to be better then 6700.

actually the issue was sometime the TV just auto on when I switch on the power (main switch). so i still able to use the TV.

I think it was because of the firmware upgrade. but LG technician just ordered new motherboard since he changed the power board and did not solve the issue.
