Hafiz...to be frank now abit regret. I am hopping that the 55 inch tv when put in my master bedroom which will be facing my bed, not too overwhelming or uncomfortable to the eyes etc... If so my wife will murder me no joke. The tv is due to arrive this Thursday afternoon and I still have not told her about the purchase ..

Anyway TOUCHWOOD, but jus in case my wife goes bonker, any bro here if getting a 55 inch 6410, can buy from me 2k , I lugi $275 .. Will rehoot 47inch6690 I guess...

55" is confirm too big unless you using 2 bedrooms as one. I like screens as huge as possible but only will consider the biggest size for rooms to be 42". Why not try call up your dealer and do a "upgrade" to a different smaller higher end model?

For Full HD, a 55" screen can be used from 2-2.5m.
No issue in a bedroom unless your bed is 1m long.

Guys what's the difference btw make on Korea vs make in Malaysia or Indonesia ? The picture quality better if make in Korea?

It is more on defects during assembly and final quality check before shipment. General perception (could be due to personal expirience) are that Korea has lesser defects shipped out to consumer. So it warrants a higher purchase price if it is made in Korea, and people buy them.

e.g. I have a Mitsubishi fan assembled in Malaysia. The buttons pop out after just 1 month of used.

My bed is kingsize... So should be longer than 1 meter bah...

Btw... What to do with old tv? I have like 3 old unused including the current lg 42 inch 2 yr old LCD led tv... Can call those classified ads where can see people advertise buying all electronic goods kind of ads. Are they for real or al long in disguise.. If legit how much will they offer for my 42 inch lg 2 yr tv? If ey offer $50.. I might as well give to the Blangar cleaner....

Is it normal to have bright spots like stronger light leakage at the top right hand corner of the LED LCD TV like LM6410?

Poor picture added. Difficult to capture on the phone camera. Pls increase the brightness of your display to see.

Edit: my bad, just googled it and it is in the LG website...but can't discern any significant differences between the 2 models.

Guys I astone cheap media player controller suddenly one button not working and some more the most important one -go- /enter...can browse my hdd up and down, different folders etc... Jus cannot play. So I took out hdmi amd the optical cable into tv itself. So now my tv directly connect to my home theater system.. Wondering if can get it to work.. Worried no sound later.

I eventually got the 42lm6410 at megatex. $998, wall bracket, 2x DP glasses. Cc and carry.
Now got slight light leakage at 2top corners if watch in dark rm.

Something popped in my almost 1 month old 47LM6700 TV earlier. Now when I turn on the TV, there seems to be a crack inside, similar to the screen below:

I'm really pissed at the moment. Just wanted to share with you guys. Hope you don't suffer the same fate as my TV did.
