Nvm, tot u gt AIO and SP120..

Well, if u only gt stock cpu cooler and 92mm fan, then dun expect wonders bah. That cpu cooler is designed to give u some cooling nia, but not as effective as branded coolers.

As for the 92mm, it could be a cost saving move to reduce footprint of ur case. Even at max speed, cant feel much de.

but previously using my existing acer predator parts..the fan is not that loud...is it the asrock bios setting? i saw the fan level at 9...

Maybe, do consider replace the stock fan

If budget just get intel stock hsf around $10-15 I think can go SLS find, or something like CM hyper tx3 evo around $40 bucks

Maybe consider lower ur fan level see how ?

Could it have been the 92mm fan that is going at full blast? Perhaps we should have twlee88 to go into the Bios and adjust the fan speed?

Also, I wondered if the 50C temp is at idle or actual load temp?

Maybe bah? If its voltage controlled, maybe can set it to 9V at BIOS?

so far the temp highest is 43 when browsing website. i think i might mistaken it by saying 50.

Ur hwmonitor shows 50+ as max. Could be when u surfing internet or so.

But, best is to reapply thermal paste. Watch youtube if u dunnoe how to do it properly...

No, your HWMonitor is showing peak temps as 50+C. Try firing up a game with HWMonitor on and game a little bit (5-10 minutes will do.) and show us the HWMonitor screenshot after you exit the game.

Based on past experience, some fans are not compatible with the mobo cpu fan header, which causes them to run at full speed all the time.. Maybe you try swap the pwr fan with the cpu fan?

its different head. cant slot it in..one 1 4 and is 3 head

You may need to reapply your thermal paste. Go to SLS (Or your closest Cyberactive store if got no time to go to SLS) to buy a tube of thermal paste if you do not have one.

Also, go to Guardian to buy a bottle of isoprophyl alcohol and use this to wipe off any residue of old thermal paste. You must wipe off all old thermal paste before applying any new thermal paste, otherwise the new thermal paste will not conduct heat properly.

After you have settled your heat issues, then you can go to the Bios and slowly turn down your fans until it is quiet.

any other anomalies based on this?

and just now i go into bios..the fan level is 9...what is the appropriate fan level?
any diff with lower fan level, eg 1/2/3/4? or maybe raise target temp set a bit...
