LHY helped LWL fulfill her bucket list by accompanying her to Machu Picchu, got his sons to take care of all the funeral arrangement, but just because he and LSF didn't go to the wake, they 'lose out' to LHL and HC who had merely visited the wake?!!!

You mean you would prefer to have your loved ones who never bother about you when you are ailing but would attend your wake only after you die, than someone who had been taking care of you but due to some reasons, was unable to be present at the wake?

Maybe she prefers this photo. I supposed she must have inputs as to how she wants her funeral arrangements to be like.

Eg.. simple, no religion funeral set up, the photo wasn't even placed on the hearse as well.
I am sure we have our favourite photo. Most people probably like best how they look when they are in their 20s. But it’s sort of strange to use such a young picture when you pass at a ripe old age.

Someone said that she’s a Catholic. Doesn’t seem like it.

I rather my loved ones spent time with me when I'm alive.. what's the point of coming back to attend my funeral when I'm already dead.
Yes, always quarrel and many disagreement when that person is alive, then sing praise and say all the good words about that person after he/she passed on, what is the point.
Frankly,I can't stand this type of person, this is just so fake.

Till now, I still cannot understand why the late LKY wanted to demolish the house? Most of the fathers want to pass down the house to the next generation since ancient times. Will you guys do the same like him, last wish is to demolish the house?
If there are descendents willing to take over and occupy the house then no need to demolish. So if let's say LHY comes out and say one of his son is going to stay in that house, then no one else can touch the house. But if none of the descendents wanted to stay in the house then it should be demolished. The LKY's clan members are against the idea of the house turning into a museum or heritage house.

STEP-mother well known not close to aunt.....
Go see her FB posts. Everyday posting nonsense.

Then she shared 1-2 people’s message to LWL (like other minister). Saw a public comment asking her something like “Instead of sharing others message, don’t you have your own message or words to LWL?”

I saw liao I arm chio :o

All this over an old house when they are already so rich and influential is so not worth it man
It's not the money... It's about reminding people LHL's father's contribution.. That house is no ordinary house, it was LKY's house..

Stayed for 15 mins only!:s14:

So much for someone who claimed to have promised his late father to take good care of his younger siblings.. But when one sibling died, merely made a brief 15 mins visit at her wake..
If I’m not wrong, his FB post talked until like he took so good care of her :o

Definitely not a Catholic.

So there I was, a scruffy non-believer, attending mass with the Catholic family that I was spending a weekend with. I wondered whether Jo drew his strength from his religion, but speaking was such an effort for him now that I did not ask

Older generations (those born before nation independence) value kinship and family bonding above all, regardless of wealth, status or anything in this world.

This is very surprising and exceptional that this isn't the case LKY's children ?
