ST seems to be pushing 5G rollout much faster

If i remember correctly SG only have 2 main 5G network for national wide coverage

1. Singtel
2. Starhub + M1

Both 5G Network has to be allowed TPG, Gird, GIGA and etc to lease the network and provide 5G service in future.

Base on heatmap Singtel 5G roll out is a lot faster.

No much 5G news from Antina the joint venture between M1 and Starhub. Other than they select Nokia as their 5G network.

apparently 5Go Plus is not compatible with NumberShare. I'm using Galaxy Watch 3 LTE with NumberShare setup. If I use 5Go Plus sim card on my S21 Ultra I won't be able to use the LTE function on the watch anymore because NumberShare is not supported. I'm not sure if numbershare will be compatible in future, M1 didn't know when i asked them.

Just spoke to M1 CSA. No point to subscribe to M1 5Go Plus Boosters plan with 5G sim card in this case as iPhone 12 PM can't support M1 5G SA.

Can someone with S21 series test the East area? Specifically the following places.
  1. Upper Changi (SUTD)
  2. Expo
  3. Tampines
  4. Bedok
  5. Paya Lebar

Show download, upload, ping results for each location. Make sure it’s 5G SA.

I'm using S21+!

Last evening. I just changed my normal M1 SIM card to a new 5G SA SIM card and added a $5 5Go Plus booster!

I will test the 5G SA at Paya Lebar area later in the day and report back the result! ;)

Did anyone using Iphone 12 PM changed to new 5G SA SIM Card from M1 shops ?
Not supported yet on M1 5GNR SA. Just wait for iOS 15.0, the new carrier profile should add support for M1 5GNR SA then change during that time?

If not if after the sim change and anything is wrong your connection, M1 and Apple is less likely to entertain you since you’re using it in an unsupported device.

M1 has stated it very clearly since day one.

At the moment, its 5G SA supports Samsung S21 series of phone only.
