It's bad cause they auto trigger activate even with data roaming off on phone..
Just kana this when I was roaming (not on my M1 line) for day trip to JB. $4.95+0.99. Going to call and ask them to waive or I'll port out.
Want to de-activate also cannot and I didn't even use nor intend to use the service.

Ridiculous way of doing business when mobile plans these days are a buffet, pick and choose the service that you want or need, not force it down my throat.

Yes... they will also say there some background app data running that's why even with data roaming off also will triggered... what a joke from M1

Yes. I told them it is f ridiculous that even when I am running dual SIM (eSIM for travel roaming data), you are asking me to amend my phone settings to turn off background app data because of your stupid system where you automatically activate roaming when I didn't choose to?
I told them I might as well throw the M1 sim card away, aka I port out. They really know how to piss the customer off when I've been with them since Day 1 that they started in SG.

Yes then they copy paste a template to prevent such issues. One of it was to take out sim card. After that, i question back the CSO. Might as well ask me don't use M1 :ROFLMAO:

Things to note:
1. No caller id, need to add on $5.45pm to avoid scammers

2. 5G is limited to first 6 months, then $2.08 per month.

3. Network is a joke in the new areas surrounding the PDD near SIT, Northshore, etc...10-30Mbps.

My relative signed up. Ended up 😭 crying....

Very close to the SingTel $15.28 if you can get it... Superior value.

It's no contract, so can easily port out.

Maxx is a better deal if your relative wants a m1 network

For M1, go for their CIS plan. free caller ID for 12 months. As long as you recontract, they will just give u free caller ID.

I would like to find out if there are any bad reviews. How is the mobile speed? Is the flight mode issue still occurring? Thanks.

What flight mode issues not sure if I get you. As for speed I am not sure but should be better than their Maxx Plan 5G if they follow other MNO that give priority for their expensive plans.

from the 13 month onwards if you want to change to another new phone, you just need to pay up the remaining balance of the phone and you can sign another new phone. :)
