Yes damn misleading….they just put “comes with true 5g”.
They don’t even bother to put free how long.

Worst is they started auto activate existing custome to 5G then charge after 6 months
If sign up as new the duration of the free 5G is there before you commit.

M1 CIS plans now offers 2 plans,

$14.95/mth for 200GB 5G SA
$17.95/mth for 500GB 5G SA
I sign up for the 200G one. So far, connection is as good as my previous Starhub one around my stay area. Tomorrow go office when i take trains or these will know if there is any diff.

hope no aeroplane mode
I used M1 CIS 200GB 5G previously. I have to say i am impressed with the connectivity. The 5G SA network is indeed fast. The power of SA network is good. No aeroplane or space mode when i use this CIS plans

However, it's their 4G that pulled their image down. Their 5G services are good. The 5G network is shared between Starhub and M1

First day outside my stay area. Travel to office and no airplane mode. Quite the same as SH imo. Will test test over the week see how.

So far... quite good on M1 for me.

So now... for me.. M1 okie la. I mean.. it's way cheaper than my previous SH postpaid plan. And now im paying S$14 until April 2025 where i need to top up $2 for the 5G service... but it's still cheaper than SH and ST sim only plan.

i just change into the cis plan sim only as well. but i checked with cso. the number display is not free permanently. only for 6 months as i change plan. so i guess i still have to change telco again later. or change plan if it can extend the caller display free. anyone got any idea which is the best way?

Yup. Recently I realised that the caller ID is free for 6 months if you sign up at shop. But 12 months free if you sign up online. End up, I didn't sign up either way.

Anyway, the market very competitive and very fluid, so many options out there after 6 months. Put in your calender in 6 months, then ask M1 if can extend free caller ID? Otherwise, port out and port back in.

You can try after a few months, port to zym try for 2 months and port back to M1 CIS (on website), you get 12 months free.

My experience with StarHub 5G is also good. Their M1 4G is also acceptable for me.

The only one I tried and not good is Singtel. Airplane mode all day

Singtel not good is 5G or 4G? I heard many people saying how congested and slow singtel 4G is. But slightly differently from their 5G case

M1 bespoke sim only business if u sign in shop is free 6 months Caller id. If sign online is 12 months.

So far, I’m quite happy with M1. Connections is good. Don’t need airplane mode for me. Now just hope M1 and SH can work out my porting then perfect for me.

That free caller ID is for only 6 months put me off. I had a very hard time navigating the menus and even as CIS plan account holder, there is no mention of free data roaming or free caller ID. maybe i missed the words. if MVNO offers free Called ID, wonder why M1 cannot.
