Their M1 CIS Sim Only not bad though. $11.95/mth get 5G SA, caller ID. they just slowly getting back on track. Now so many advertisements on TV. Then using maxx to counter eight / Simba and mvno.
S$11.95 for first 3 months nia, what's the use?

M1 is set to join forces with SIMBA Telecom (subject to customary regulatory approval and closing conditions), but here’s what matters most: the M1 service you know and trust will continue.
💛

✔
Your plans, numbers, and services stay the same
✔
There will not be any impact to your network experience
✔
You will have the same friendly care from our M1 team
This partnership simply means more innovation, more value, and more choices ahead — while keeping the M1 experience unchanged.

Bad to worst coverage M1 + smallest newbie low speed = da bian network mobile.
Unless lower price , improve customer service and coverage. If not better jump run .

I was on M1 CIS plan before. I would say that it’s my favourite.

The only thing stopping me now to jump from Singtel MNO to M1 MNO is IMDA approving the SIMBA acquisition.

Yup, Can consider maxx. Since now they gives free 5G SA, free caller ID for $10, same experience as M1 CIS Sim Only, why not? Got roaming benefits somemore.

Maxx indeed looks like a good option. Here’s hoping to IMDA rejecting the buy over.

IMDA unlikely to reject, this is so unlike Grab or Income Alliance.

Keppel owns M1, and since Keppel needs funds and aims to be asset-light, the process for securing a bank loan and full cash payment was approved by the banks in just a week.

Normally, banks are cautious with such a large deal (around $1 billion), but in this case, approval was granted quickly, and the only step left is regulatory clearance.

Imagine you’re a bank: a small company wants to acquire a larger, established firm versus a big company acquiring a smaller, less established one. Which deal would you be more likely to approve? Naturally, given the strong track record of the larger company, the loan would be approved more readily—and there’s already confidence that regulators will likely give their approval as well.

But for sure IMDA will have clauses, like
- M1 and Simba must operate separately
- MVNO must not be affected
- MVNO must be able to tap on simba-m1 or not tap on either.
