I just bought a M1 prepaid card yesterday, inserted the sim card into my iphone 4s.
Calls and SMS are working fine, however when I tried to launch Safari, I was shown a "PDP authentication failure" error message. Called up M1 and they asked me to download the APN settings, reboot my phone blah blah blah but still the same.
Called in to M1 again and the operator insist on me going thru the whole process again. I inserted the SIM card into my Nexus 7 and it's working fine. I also tried inserting a Starhub SIM card into the Iphone4s and everything works as per normal.
In the end, the operator actually told me that she don't know what's the problem and said the only way to resolve this issue is to bring my phone and SIM card to one of the M1 customer service centers.
I'm just wondering why the phone can work with SIM cards from other telco but not from M1? Now I need to waste time and travel all the way to get this fixed, really really disappointed..
