Hey Guys,

I just received an M1 letter saying that if I sign up additional mobile lines, I can get a $50 discount off any handsets. In addition, if I am going to port over from other telcos, I can get additonal $50 off.

My sister is interested to port over to M1 so I can sign it along with my mobile plan. If she were sign the plan under mine, do I still entitle to the additional $50 off. Actually, my sister is interested to get an Iphone 4 so it would be great news if she has the $100 discount.

Thanks

Best regards,
Warlock

Basically your sis will get the $100 discount off iPhone 4.. But it must be signed under your name lo..

There was also dis promo at IT Show last weekend. Guess the terms should be similar..

Hey chzeyuan,

Thank you for your reply. My Sister will be delighted. She is not going to wait for iphone 5 to drop by... Probably, I will be helping to get it on next week.

B1 paragon or B1 plaza singapura

Both also for 1-for-1 exchange or only Paragon applicable for 1-for-1 exchange.

Confusing, some say Paragon only, some say both... I sigh up that time the CSO say Paragon.

Immediate exchange or have to wait few days?

Thanks :)

Re-contract iPhone plan after 12months with M1

Anyone re-contracted their iPhone plan at after 12months with M1?

I am intending to do a upgrade on my iphone 3gs for iphone4, but i'm confused with M1's terms and conditions.

After i visit M1's website, this is what they say:

"Dear Valued Customer,

You have completed 14 months 5 days of your handset contract with 9221****.
We are pleased to inform you that you can now re-contract your handset with an Early Upgrade charge of $100 on top of handset price. If you are on an iPhone handset contract, you can re-contract with an Early Upgrade charge of $300 on top of handset price.

Please note that the Early Upgrade charge will not be applicable once you have completed 20 months of your contract."

Does it mean that if iPhone 4 costs $500, i would have to top up $300 on top of the $500? If thats so thats kinda bull****. -.-

I use Singtel previously, and I changed to M1 last year.

Anyone have any knowledge of this? Thanks in advance :D

yes. if ur current contract is an iphone contract, the early upgrade charge is higher. this applies to ALL telcos.

Yep, the early upgrade fee for iPhone contracts is $300. It's advantageous for people with multiple contracts (at least 2) as they can re-contract yearly without the $300 fee, if you know what I mean.

You have 6 months till the contract expires, why not just wait till the iPhone 5 is released?

low end plan sign iphone is the most louiest deal.
if u add the $300 its even worse.

as good as buy from apple at 888 without extending contract.

$300 applies to all plan. it depend on individual phone usage.. no point every month pay extra more just to have the phone cheaper.

take Singtel iFlexi plan for eg

iFlexi Value $56 / month
iPhone 4 32GB - $360

iFlexi Plus $95 / month
iPhone 4 32GB - $60

to those who don't use more than 200mins... they r paying more in the end

i know what u mean, but u get what i mean. 100min plan buy iphone is not worth it in my opinion.

if those who are good, pls try to get CIS plan. the marginal effect for 200min difference for m1 and starhub, u can see the difference easily.

btw i am referring to the 100 min versus the 200/300min for singtel starhub m1.

although u can say those who dun use more will lugi, no one can foresee their mobile usage in that 2yr. any excess lump up could also possibly will overshoot the total cost of phone + 2yr plan bill. fyi.

Repair/Replace an iphone 4 M1 set

Dear everybody,
I bought an Iphone 4 M1 set from a nice guy and after few week using it, the home button is not really sensitive and sometimes unresponsive.
I would go to M1 for repairing or replacing it. Where should i go or just go to any M1 shop? And am i eligible for that as i bought it from someone else?

hope you can help me on this issue

do you have the original mobile no. that the iphone 4 was registered with??

apparently the counter asked me for the original mobile no, in both occasion (paragon). could be for verification, but i really don't know.

i would usually ask for the original invoice. some people would tell you, no need. based on my experience, they 95% ask for original invoice unless you are very lucky (5%) or you can make them think positively about your ownership.
