Wanted to get a iphone from m1 after serving 20 months of my current sunsaver contract with sunsurf max and i thought that i could able to upgrade to iphone plan,in the end, i was told i need to serve the 24 months contract for the stupid sunsurf plan with come with free 1GB data.

U see, my sunsaver cost about $25++ p/m and sunsurf is $9++ p/m, which added up close to $35++, i wanted to get this iphone value plan which costs about $36 p/m. And who will be in a right flame of mind to buy iphone with sunsaver plan now?!

When i key in my detail on the webpage regarding on recontract, yes i can but it did not mentiion about my sunsurf plan contract.Only when i reached the M1 counter..i was told to pay this and that and ended up i walked out from the shop without buying liao.

is it ok to buy iphone at m1 exclusive distributors like arrow communications etc or is it better to buy iphone at m1 shops? got any difference? in terms of service and handsets..

Iphone Carrier

I'm a M1 user. Do i set my carrier to M1 or Auto?

And just wanna ask. Why my carrier sometimes will keep restart like there is full bar after around no signal then full bar?

Please clear my doubts

I always set mine to own carrier (e.g. M1) manually. This way even if there is no signal, it will not auto-roam to neighboring country's service provider, especially if you're living in Woodlands.

Same here, using M1, set to M1 manually so it wont accidentally lock on to indonesia telco in batam cos i stay near east coast.

i also noticed it... and it only started recently.
so long i can make call and sms, a bit of inconvenience is alright with me.

Ok, I just went to change a iPhone black 16gb, interestingly, is in black box. Serial number starts with 82 instead of the usual 5K...

My iPhone just spoilt and I just exchanged. Black-to-black only.

I asked 3 different M1 staff, ALL 3 told me cannot exchange for white.
In fact all 3 told me a lot of people ask liao, and the answer is a flat NO.

Duh, M1 west mall don't entertain that, only paragon and plaza sing does.
