You should really check out the preferences in iTunes at least once.

You can easily rip CDs with whatever bitrate/format you want, just go to iTunes preferences. With regard to your last "problem", check out the "Advanced" pane in iTunes preferences.

Would I be able to get a FW800(9pin) to FW400(6pin) or FW400(4pin) cable/adapter in Funan or anywhere else locally?

Did you try creating a new user account then deleting the old one? The computer name is based on the name associated with your account.

If you want to manually change it to something else, the computer name is found under "Sharing" in System Preferences.

It's not possible, sleep cuts off power to certain parts of the computer. In your case you don't want it to sleep, you just want the display to sleep. Not advisable unless you're on A/C power.

If I don't bring it to school, it just sits on my desk. If it's been on A/C for too long, I usually cycle the battery once in a while. I just let the screen sleep since I need to remain connected to the internet. However, when it's on battery power, I have it set to sleep completely.

Hi guys, i have a problem.

I tried to access bloomberg.com but i can't.
I am sure it isn't connection problem because i can access the main page of bloomberg.com
but not to its news content. Whenever i clicked on the news, it just showed connection problem in safari
i tried safari/firefox and I.E, all have the same problem.

I am sure that the chinese govt. (i am in shanghai right now) didn't blocked this website, so i am really puzzled
about this problem. I never had this problem when i first get connected via the ethernet.

Anyone has any ideas? Thanks in advance!

i don't recall seeing Notes in the Inbox folder in Leopard and used to be i just go to the Notes folder in Mail to view or amend any Notes...

any workaround suggestion on getting Notes out of my Inbox folder?

You can disable this new feature of Snow Leopard.

Mail.app -> Preferences -> Accounts -> Select the account -> Mailbox Behaviors -> Untick "Show notes in Inbox"

Your Notes will then show up by itself in Mail, just like it did in Leopard. It's a strange new feature.
