i read abt condensation on iMac. Will MacBook Pro also has this kind of problem?

for the condensation..... is it only on selected model etc. Also read abt noisy HD. are these referring to the current models in the market?

yaa... den how ah? :s22: my fren wan play photo booth. -__-

This is a known issue for mac to incorrectly display time after rebooting from windows. Just connect to the internet and your clock will be sync-ed with apple website's time and you will get back your original time zone.

Not sure if there's any remedy for this discrepancy.

No remedy only because of how the OSes deal with the time. OSX deals with GMT and uses the timezone setting in the OS to offset, whereas Windows programs the actual current time onto the hardware/BIOS.

You can see which is a more efficient implementation, especially when you travel.

Macbook Pro very slow and hang often

Hi all gurus,
i have a mid 2009 macbook pro. Recently it is giving me problems.
at first, the startup time is around 3-5 mins. then recently, whenever i open finder or safari, the moment i move my mouse, it will show the beach ball spinning for around 2 min. After that moved the mouse again, the beach ball appear again.
Can someone teach me how to fix this problem?
Thank you.

If I were you I'd do a combo update and if it's not fixed, reformat. But then again it's my preference.

Did you install any plug-ins or startup items?

Hi,
Previously everything is ok until i have update the software. after the update, system started to behave like this.
i will try to format it and install the SL.
Wonder can i do a clean and fresh installation of SL?

Perfectly normal. Front Row was meant to be controlled with a remote control. I think the first few iMacs that introduced the application came supplied with the remotes. Now you'll need to buy it separately.

If you bought it from the the online apple store, you would need to give apple a call and not bring it down to any of the stores as it is handled differently.

However, if you made the purchage from a retail outlet like epicentre...etc you should then go to them instead.

also, I think the grace period is 14 days. :s7:
