Hello everyone,

I'm a new Imac 21.5 owner for about 1 week. It's totally different from using window vista, therefore I've got several problem that I need ur help.
1)I've downloaded youtube, adobeflash & others but unable to open them up.

2)Is there a way to use a password for initial log on of the imac?.

3)Is it possible to download excell,words & powerpoint for imac?.

1) unable to open up meaning?

2) system pref-> accounts -> login options -> auto login off, u can set your login preferecence

3) there is office for mac which you can purchase. the windows version of office cannot work on mac

1) Do you mean installing them? You have to copy the *.DMG file into the Application folders.
Some better installation file, will copy automatically when you double click it but not all.
Even so, it's better to check whether there's a corresponding DMG file in the Apps folders

3) You can download OpenOffice, else u you to buy Office for Mac.

hi, i just bought an airport extreme today and tried connecting it to my modem. im able to connect to the wireless router and use internet as per normal but im unable to access the base station from the airport utility (airport extreme has blinking amber light). can anyone help me with this please?

hi guys, any idea if the oem version of windows 7 work on mac via bootcamp? or must i get the retail version? that said do you guys have any idea where to find the cheapest of either version? thanks in advance :)

Hi, interested in getting one of the i7 13 inch MBP but am wondering if it's suitably powerful enough to open 50MB of excel spreadsheets with formulas in each cell.

My current windows laptop is running on i5 quadcore 2.2ghz and it's struggling. =X

No one can tell you for sure unless you try it out on your own.

From what i understand, it is actually dependent on your RAM, and how many applications are running at the same time.

generally oem is cheaper

but i have not tried oem version on bootcamp.

I oso wan to know if oem able to work via bootcamp.. retails is super ex :(

hi guys i asked this question before but no one responded

my imac is making hard drive noises (clicks) randomly when its in sleep mode - is this normal?? should i be worried? I thought in sleep mode the imac is supposed to "sleep"?

it only happen sometimes though, not all the time

quick qn: windows have windows live messenger (WLM), and i'm sure OSX has its equivalents. but do the equivalent software support group conversations? anyone knows?
