Just passed a shop in Funan, and the guy says he can 'change' or repair the GT330.

Is reflowing an option too?

Thanks for your advice.

If it's a 13" then you don't have to worry about: http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203554

Average price? Erm core 2 duo processor, i would pay between $300 - $500 depending on other specs/condition/usability.

SO any of the 3 watt rating will be fine for a MBA 11" right? Thanks! Lost my 11" charger. Looking to get a new one on carousell

Yes, it's documented in Intel-Based Apple notebooks: Identifying the right power adapter and power cord - Apple Support

Power adapters for Intel-based Apple notebooks are available in 45W, 60W, and 85W varieties. Although you should always use the proper wattage adapter for your Apple notebook, you can use an adapter of a higher wattage without issue.

For instance, if you have a MacBook (13-inch Late 2009) that normally uses a 60W adapter, you can also use an 85W adapter with that computer. You would not use a 45W adapter with that computer; it would not provide enough power for that MacBook.

Using an adapter of higher wattage than the adapter that came with the computer will not cause the computer to charge more quickly or otherwise operate any differently than using the adapter that came with the computer. The tables further down in this article show the style of connector that initially shipped with each model of MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air.

Can you post a screenshot example?
Actually URL of the affected site?
What browser are you using, does it affect all browsers?

Meanwhile you can also have a look at the following article which might be the cause of the issue.

Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues - Apple Support

Also in case your mac is affected by an Adware, you can run Adware Medic to get rid of them

Quite curious how you accidentally erased your boot partition.

Reason i asked is to confirm if it's really formatted because if it is, your best bet is to visit a data recovery center.

Note: data recovery is not a cheap process, can cost few hundred dollars, you can search for OnTrack, quite a big name in data recovery.

It was my first time doing an reformat, i wanted to just format it but i guess i dont know what i am doing. i dont need recovery, just a new install of OS will do.

Is there any other way other than visiting a specialist? perhaps install OS via a thumbdrive?

Oh then should be okay, assumed you wanted to "salvage" your data.

Refer below steps to restore your mac.

Make sure you followed the steps properly.

Before you begin, you need to be connected to the Internet.
Choose Apple menu > Restart, and then hold down the Command (⌘) and R keys while the computer restarts.

Or you can use Command + Option + R for Internet recovery.

There's no way you can format yourself while booted to OS X, so the location you formatted the HDD, that's where you need to go hence I asked how you did the format process.

Hi guys,

I have been playing around geek tool and its really astounding how much we could customize our mac. I have been stealing codes from google but my calendar is still misaligned haha. The numbers and the day are abit misalign for the single digit.

the code is :

cal | sed -E '1,$'"s/ ($(date +%e))( |$)/ $(echo '\033[1;32m')\1$(echo '\033[0m')\2/"

anyhow knows what is the code for a aligned calendar with the current day coloured?

Thanks a lot !!
