Macbook Stain on Screen

Had the same issue with my rMBP. Went to QCD at Wheelock for a replacement at no cost due to Applecare warranty. But after like 3 months the same issue came back. Haven't done anything to it yet since I need it for school work. That asidw, QCD's customer service is really really good. It's just a product defect which they haven't seem to be able to resolve, their screen really cmi.

Any tips to prevent staingate?

The only solutions is dont touch the screen. Dont eat....

Talk also becareful, later got saliva stain...

Meanwhile, anyone can sic screenprotector?

Don't bring laptop out of the house as during travel the screen will flex if pressure is applied from other things in your bag.
Don't clean the screen too often.
Consider getting a screen protector.

Only issue with not cleaning screen too often is that dust just keeps accumulating and settling itself on the screen so damm often. :/

Can try dusting the screen lightly with micro fiber cloth. It will clear most of the dust without destroying the screen.

I am hit by the same issue. Went down to apple today at 430pm and got a mail at 8pm saying that my macbook pro is ready and ready for collection any time.

Now I use a soft brush to swipe the dust away.
