Been playing around with UB2 for abit. More impressions.

This IPTV is "useable" but very laggy. The VOD totally cannot make it.
The Live TV is manageable but some channels don't work.

Really irritated! Maybe spoiled by Maige

Also I prefer streamlined application instead of a variety of half baked apps which have links that doesn't work all the time.

The Karaoke app also so laggy. Damn, the whole thing is laggy.
But again no choice. Bo pain. Got to stand.

ermm can this ubox 2 device install kodi or not? i would want to watch tvb drama so if jerky, i don't know why should i be paying $200 for this box..my point is, something must be worthwhile....if VOD laggy, live tv also laggy then i pay for what?

Heard from another thread HDTV maybe using CDN to mirror.
That is what made maige so fast and can stream so fast and big files.

But don't mean they are streaming same quality or no connection issues. I have a feeling in future more iptv may apply this technology though.

The only options are starhub and mio TV for those who wants stable, uniform ui and full HD now.

Maybe rent a sh TV box from someone with a subscription

for some reasons, the UB website seller is not as friendly. I asked for the price, they replied RMB799 + 140 shipping. I asked politely if there is a typo, the reply was, buy from agent.

I think many maige users now switch to UB, they are overwhelm with sales

I bought ub2 for fun a few months back from ebay. Was through this link ebay A hong kong seller, so maybe u guys will have better luck than dealing with china sellers.

Hardly watch TV, and play with IPTV services, so cannot comment on quality much.
