Picture quality is about the same, actually i think more snow flakes than ub.

Buffering speed is faster and should be smoother.
No vod.

Basic package for HDTV is SGD 70 per annum
Ub is free subscription for life with box SGD 170 up.

If get a new Android box for the HDTV I think about $100 but with better specs.
