Sushi and Sashimi - Not much varieties for selection just a few types of sushi and two types of sashimi unless you want to count the fake crab stick too.

Of the limited types of sushi, I only like this Mayo Shrimp Sushi but they doesn't replenished it.

Sushi Roll with Fish Roes

Passador serving Sausages and Pork Medallions - The pork medallion was too dry tasting which was typical of it as there wasn't any fats.

Both Sausage and Pork Medallion were edible but on the dry side.

703-Panorama.jpg

Not my plate of Black Bean Chicken Stew and Yellow Curry Crab so no comment on those.

704-Panorama.jpg

Chicken Stew, BBQ Chicken Wing, Sausage Bacon Roll and Red Curry Duck - BBQ Chicken Wing was juicy and had a smoky flavour from the grill. The rest I don't quite like them.

705-Panorama.jpg

Teppanyaki Seafood consisted of Fish Fillets, Prawns, Squids and Scallops which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Teppanyaki Seafood - The few types of fish fillets we tried were fresh as were the squids, prawns and scallops which were cooked just long enough so they don't ended up like rubber. Look at how the squid curled ever so nicely, just begging me to pop one into my mouth. :thumb2:

710-Panorama.jpg

Teppanyaki Scallops and Tomato Skewer - The cherry tomato light sourness toned down the greasiness of the scallops so we can eat even more. :D

BBQ Pork Ribs wasn't too bad either but I think the passador only came one round with it.

Garlic Bread came warm and was crispy on the outside and soft, full of garlicky flavour inside. A certain someone exceeded her carbo intake just gorging on this. :D

Passador serving the BBQ Picanha which was also known as Top Sirloin Cap or Rump Cap to some. It's one of the best cuts of beef and well appreciated all over Brazil for grilling.

715-Panorama.jpg

BBQ Picanha (Top Sirloin Cap or Rump Cap) - Just look at that layer of fats. Some may be turned off by it but to us, it was heaven sent. Simply the best cut of the cow!!!

Try BBQ Picanha with Salsa if you think it's too greasy for you.

719-Panorama.jpg

BBQ Picanha (Top Sirloin Cap or Rump Cap) - Here the meats are never too salty unlike the sodium overdosed meats we have back in Singapore.

Coxinha, Mandioca Frita, Kibe and Pao De Queijo - Can just skip all these items.

724-Panorama.jpg

Vegetable Medley with Prawns - Wonderfully done, very yummy.

720-Panorama.jpg

722-Panorama.jpg

Teppanyaki Seafood - The only complaint was that the Eringi Mushroom being pan fried with the seafood and it absorbed that "fresh" taste of seafood items which we cannot accepted.

Nice fresh and succulent Teppanyaki Prawns. Here they used tiger prawns so it tasted much better than the river prawns.

732-Panorama.jpg

Pasta with Cream Sauce - Creamy and nice plus the portion just the right amount.

I tried their Egg Noodle Soup of which the noodle was Q enough but the soup was sweetish though flavourful enough.

728-Panorama.jpg

729-Panorama.jpg

My friend's bowl of Buckwheat Noodle Soup. He like the noodle but not the sweet soup.

730-Panorama.jpg

Condiments for Noodle - As if it was not sweet enough already, they have more sugar for you. :s22:

Time for desserts. Lets try this Beijinho which I found it pretty normal, not surprize here.

735-Panorama.jpg

Macarons and Thai Dessert - As for the Macarons, the texture and flavour were just not what I had expected after eating the much nicer version at Straits Cafe back in Singapore.

736-Panorama.jpg

This Thai Dessert had a rubbery texture as echoed by my friend.

737-Panorama.jpg

Sago in Red Wine Sauce - I like red wine but this one had that "siap siap" taste which I did not like. Not the smooth red wine aftertaste which I much preferred.

Berry Sherbet - Since the buffet does not included drinks, not even plain water, this became my thirst quencher. Had about 6-7 scoops of it not because of the bet to see who ate the most scoops of ice creams but it had a nice berry flavour and none too sweet.

And how much does this buffet cost? Only S$17 if you factored in the exchange rate by the bank.

Lunch's over and someone suggested visiting the newly opened mega mall near Suvarnabhumi Airport so we proceeded to BTS Udom Suk to wait for the free shuttle bus. Anyway, we were joking that Udom Suk sounded like Udon Soup if you can't remembered the correct name. :D OK, back to topic, we waited and waited but no shuttle bus came. Not wanting to stand by the road and inhale the exhaust from all the vehicles, the five of us squeezed into one taxi.

Mega Bangna is a new shopping mall near Suvarnabhumi Airport and and is billed as the largest low-rise shopping mall (two floors only) in Southeast Asia. They have 800 shops and parking for 8,000 vehicles. The anchor stores include Robinson, Big C Extra, HomePro, Mega Cineplex and IKEA. Mega Cineplex includes 15 digital cinemas, 24 bowling lanes, 28 karaoke rooms & 1,000 sq.m ice skate rink.

It was raining when we got there.

If there's only time for one buffet in Bangkok, which would you go for? Lord Jim or the Westin Three Buffets?

Go for the 3 in 1 buffet if you like the lamb cutlet, fresh sashimi and Teppanyaki plus desserts.

Lord Jim if you like the foie gras, roasts and desserts.

The 3 restaurants in 1 has a lot of varieties than I can hope to try out. Need to go a few times just to sample them.

Others haven't go before so can't comment.
