Same problem, change liao but vep side never update or reply email, u can try deleting tng and recreate account.
yes faster way is to delete it, but u can go into the inapp agent chat tok to a human by typing "chat with live agent" make sure u get connected to 1 and then tell them u need to update ur NRIC number to the acct for vep purposes they will advice..
I also stuck at "Tag issued not activated" has been in this status for 30 to 40 days.

After reading I've made a request to TnG to update with my ID number. According to TnG, for foreigners need to display passport number. So ID will only be undated in their back end and will not be displayed.

So wonder how long more to wait.
as above. :)

Hi everyone! i need some advice from the gurus here. i am stuck with the registration as my car is a 2nd hand car and need to contact previous owner to dereg it. i emailed VEP since june but till now still no response.

I read through the previous posts and one options is to go down to VEP centre at Danga Bay to get it done.

Just wanted to check with you all:

1) is the centre open on weekend? i checked on google, it says it's open from 9am to 9pm, but... you never know D:

2) can everything be done on the same day, if i go in super early like heng heng manage to be 1st in line? i already got my TnG set up and everything. just need to settle this dereg of the 2nd hand car from the previous owner.

thank you all!
yes its open. as urs is dereg n reg they will take note of ur problem and ask u go back n wait for email in a week or so, anyway its better than u dun go down n purely go by email. but definately not settling u within a day.. tats for sure.

I have requested TNG online chat to update the NRIC on the spot one month back. Received my Tag on 17 Sept after one month waiting (13 Aug) . Pasted on the same day and submit photo as proof (Needs to show your car licence plate and the tag in the picture). Received an email on 18th Sept night that it has been activated. Checked my TNG apps under RFID , it is automatically populate with my car status as active. Looks like the squence needs to correct.

Yesterday received an email from TnG asking me to update my NRIC into its app for VEP purpose.

I was guided to tap "VEP JPJ". However there's no such button - maybe the app not updated yet.

Below it is what is stated in my email...

Update your National ID on
TNG eWallet

In line with the Ministry of Transportation (MOT) and Road Transport Department (JPJ) directive, all Singaporean vehicles entering Malaysia will need an RFID tag.

What this means for you
To comply with this new requirement, you'll need to update your National ID on TNG eWallet.

Here's what you need to do
• On your TNG eWallet homepage, click on "VEP JPJ"
• Enter your National ID
• Confirm your details and that's it!.

Hi All,

For those that selected mailing to your home address and have not received your VEP tag after waiting for a long time, you may head down to City Link office to self collect.

Just collected my VEP parcel from their office 30mins ago, while leaving saw others dropping by to self collect as well.

Do check your parcel status and ensure it has not been arranged to be sent out before heading over to prevent a wasted trip. Hope this helps

Thanks...I've not done anything yet as I don't own a car but my partner will be renewing her VEP before expiring in Feb.

Do you need to upload any documentats?

When I click that button it prompt me to verify account. So now TNG App must be verified first in order to use VEP? I thought can just use TNG physical card.
