This Man Utd team is injury prone. Before the pre-season game goal keeper already injured. Maybe Onana was trying to play as centreback or defensive midfielder & tackled other players.

However, it appears that Man Utd could be taking their first steps to bringing in a player Amorim would love to have at Old Trafford.

According to a report from Portuguese publication A Bola, the Red Devils are ready to make a concrete move for Sporting CP defensive Goncalo Inacio standout this summer.

Indeed, the report states that United have ‘enquired’ about a deal, with Sporting prepared to sell Inacio for a fee of around £43million (€49.6m / $58m).

At just 23 years of age, Inacio is an incredible talent who is capable of playing multiple different defensive roles – including centrally and at left-back.

Indeed, Inacio would likely settle in quickly at Old Trafford due to his familiarity with Amorim and, at just £43m, would represent tremendous value.

There are several players available for Man Utd to sign. Only question is whether Man Utd has the funds to sign them & whether they want to join Man Utd.

meanwhile utd still struggling on mbuemo and only signed 1 player. opening day sure trashed by arsenal. after 11 games goal difference is -20 and at bottom half.

If this news is true we will once again prove to others that we are the number one carrot head in the world.
let's see who will be the carrot head by December..
Arsenal paying close to 65M pound for the G-man or
MU paying close to 65M for the M-man.

Despite some disagreement over Mbeumo's valuation, United have now relented and agreed to meet Brentford's £65m asking price.

If this news is true Mbeumo signing can be completed very soon.
Weak mentality from manu management. I would expect them to just walk away after the 2nd bid was rejected. Always tries to play hardball but when hardball doesn't work they don't walk away but give in. That's why clubs like to sell players to manu knowing they can always keep rejecting and manu will just give in to their demands.

Whereas buying manu players they know they can low-ball because manu are very desperate to sell players.

Top clubs more or less completed their signings before the pre-season games. Man Utd may not complete the signings when the season starts.
