FESTIVAL WALK INCIDENT

13 November 2019 – Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust Management Ltd. (“MNACTM” or the “Manager”), the Manager of Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust, wishes to inform that there was extensive damage to Festival Walk due to various incidents on the night of 12 November 2019. A few groups of protestors smashed the glass panels at entrances to the property, including the office lobby and balustrades on various levels of the mall. They also set fire to the Christmas tree within the mall, as well as the office lobby. The fires were eventually put out. There was no report of injuries. The mall has been closed for operations since 2 pm on 12 November 2019 amid city-wide disruptions.

The mall will be closed on 13 November 2019. The Manager is assessing the damage and will provide an update in due course.

wow.... So many brave investors waiting to catch falling knives.... the yield curve is turning bearish again and Reits with HK operations are being impact by the ongoing protest - the high volume sell off suggests institutional footprint. I hope those looking to buy this dip know what they are doing.
