I applied sept2011 bto under the Near parent priority scheme (Married Child Priority Scheme (MCPS))
Luckily i tio and manage to score an unit in AMK with queue no. 1x.

I feel for you. I could be in your shoe. HDB should fix this.

unless hdb is saying 1228 applications all are staying near parent.
they should give to those stay near parent.
it is only sensible, if I stay far away, who take care of parent?

ya.... very lucky. 1st time apply bto also. amk application rate was 6.0 then.
selected a high floor non-facing west unit.
paid my 20% deposit already. hope it complete soon.

i roughly measure liao. It's a lot further than 2km for my case. Anyway the scheme is a flop. The priority really is as good as nothing.
