4 room units taken up after second day:
163: 28; 32
165: 36; 33 38
175: 18 28 32 36 38 40; 23 30 33 35 37 39
177: nil; nil;
185: 16 17 18 37 40; 09 15 22 28 38 39
187: 21 35 39; 18 23 38
189: 06 35; 18 30
191: nil; nil;
Total 18+20=38 units
Most popular unit: 12x 175, 11x 185, 6x 187
Most popular level: 4x 18, 4x 38, 3x 28, 3x 35, 3x 39

I think they start at 8 a.m. until 5 including 1 hr lunch. So 9 hr x 2 = 18 queue numbers each day.

187: 21 35 39
189: 06 35
191: nil
Total 18 units
Most popular unit: 6x 175

Pertaining to clementi ridges 4-room,
With the same price and similiar north/north east facing, why would people choose Units from the 185 stack rather than 175 stack?
- difference in layout? (household shelter in kitchen is better?)
- the common corridor faces the service yard for 185, i think it's a compromise on privacy? no?
- and it's nearer to the busy clementi ave 6 ...

Layout also give slightly more privacy for the inner bedrooms, but I personally consider the corridor a waste of space (i.e. money). My wife dislike kitchen door facing a bedroom. My brother dislike the lack of long wall in the kitchen. Thus, may be these buyers don't cook at home and prefer more privacy for main bedroom.

Not sure if common corridor has high wall. Probably not then you are correct. May be they don't mind, or they don't cook or hang clothe to dry, so not affected much :p

The difference due to distance may not be significant, but 185 has 5room to block noise from ave 6. However, I think the location of the main bedroom is also important.

For me, I would prefer 175, 187 followed by 165. Main reasons are I dislike 185's layout, west located main bedroom and nearer to Ave 6. Also, though prefer the North facing but worried about future high rise north of it, so 165 is third choice for its nearer to MRT, significantly cheaper and "sea" view (though I don't like).

From the selected units so far, seems like most people don't mind the stronger Northeast wind.

some people may disagree, but i think the noise levels at 185 and 187 will be higher than expected due to sound reflections off the 5-room apartments in block B.

let me throw out a question.. have you ever thought that in 5 years time when the flat is ready, property prices might have tanked.. and you end up paying more for this BTO flat than if you say chose a resale flat in a similar area in 2017? There's a risk in buying a BTO flat in 2012, cos the prices of the BTO are currently pegged to current resale prices in the area... And the resale prices in SG right now are at an all time high...
