i got to admit my conviction on Mii has weakened. all my money in it. gg.com

Actually even before the war starts the MII history price chart shows it is quite volatile. Since volatile then you get your swee 4%. I sold half and take it some to Chocolate Finance and some to UOBAM Invest United SGD. This half help save my the other half stuck inside MII. I am still thinking to exit MII entirely at a loss aka sell the losers and buy the winners syndrome

yup I am also sitting on about 8 to 9% paper loss invested so far via DCA.

Its also abt perception , like how our grandparents buy & hoard gold , silver despite the current market price & irrespective of going up or down , wont even track prices as often as we do.
So precious metals is more like a buy & forget kind of investment haha

Even OCBC PMA has lock the price or widen the spread already at this hour ( which they usually do at 5am after usa market close) but today early due to uncertainity & ongoing free fall I guess.
Can only buy usa ETFs directly now if dare to catch the falling knife or the good prices haha

Don't wait for SGX to lower the 100 for big value stocks. Use moomoo to do odd lots buy. Been doing that for think late last year? With odd lots you can buy Jardine Haw Par DBS OCBC UOB Sembcorp Singtel ST Engineering etc etc. The price may not be good but you can at least buy in

With your e.g 6k using odd lots you can buy at least 10+ SGX big value stocks instead of one. There is no need to be faithful to one stock or world ETF in my investment dictionary. Whoever can bring me monies hoot

My naive perspective is indeed a opportunity to increase MIG DCA , though still a double edged sword as it can go any direction after the massive bull run throughout 2025.

Average down is one strategy that is hard to get it right. For me since I have so many investment instruments everywhere I cannot afford the capital to keep average down on one particular item in this case MIG. I apply a X% rule once breach I will not buy anymore. I take those monies to buy others and hope that others go green colour and use that others to offset this lose monies item MIG

Just formulate your own strategy.

I don’t think it will return to $9.30 and above as long as inflation is sticky, which is likely the case in the next 6 months.

yeah , so 6 months low or below 200days moving average already.

Just the timing of MIG inception happen to be when its at all time high and the geopolitical tensions , AI stocks swings , fed situation this year.

Just need to be that much more patient to continue DCA and hold long term.

Like last friday stocks , gold , silver , oil everything crashed at the same time.
People said its not just the USA jobs data or the fed rate hike expectation , its also 3 new AI stocks IPO coming up , so all the big money going there.
Just the unsettling world we live in now , more volatile more often.
