Guys a side question , I understand ppl recommend to go for Ireland domicile ETFs v/s USA domicile.

But why USD denominated over GBP denominated , like VWRA vs VWRP or ACWD vs ACWI and such other ETFs , whats the issue investing in GBP denominated ETFs
if I sell the usd etf, I can use the proceeds to buy us shares. I don't buy lse stocks.

If you use FSMOne RSP or StashAway this currency problem is hidden. You buy sell SGD and then internally it can be lse us stocks. Profit calculation all in SGD clean and neat and easy.

Gold found support at 4kUSD after spending most of APAC and UK hours below that.
Friday fever down again , Where are all the big fish heading to? I also want to go, haha.

Seems like we are in a phase of creating new history , rather than based on any past historical trends.

People say Silver 50% discount from all time high , now at $56 but than it was $30 just 2yrs ago haha

As i said in couple posts above. Big fishes with unlimited pocket/leverage are mostly on summer holidays. Now heatwave, all go soak in the resort pool.

september all come back like shark makan up all retail investors - not just metals but also stocks.

the fundamentals hasnt changed but market emotion poor and momentum lacking. Buy the dip you have the means, otherwise take a holiday too and not look at the numbers so much.

CenBank (gold) hoarding and de-dollarisation will pick up again > such news and data will trickle out bit by bit aug, sept, oct. sentiments will shift and momentum pick up after.

I have alr lost 30% of my silver investment to date. 🤯
Optimistically, if last yr pattern repeats, then you might have chance to breakeven in 6 months around Dec/Jan.

otherwise zoom out longer look back period, silver can stay weak for years…

Last week you never take the chance to sell some? I did.

6 months monies locked up is quite long so my strategy is trim some when got short spike. Those monies invest other green color better than red colour for 6 months.

I think ah OCBC precious metal a/c not bad ,
like just now can buy gold dip to $3985 and silver dip to $55.8 ,
rather than wait for UK / US market trading hours as might not get those prices.
Not sure if there is any other better way or options.
The ocbc 2.6% spread is steep , not meant for trading but ok to buy and hold long term

Just remind they are paper gold silver and holding long term for paper which has no dividend? Hmmm maybe use this to try offset from MIG ? But my current strategy was sell gold silver to buy into emerging markets either UT or ETF. So far trim 50% left 50%
