It proves that their marketing selection is right since he taking part in both promos.
I remember previous promo is you can choose to leave the money either in Savings side or Saveplus acc until end June and they'll top up to certain percentage to issue you the rewards by end July iirc.

So apparently he choose to leave at Savings side and now got invited again for this current 3.73% SavePlus promo.
So my guess is if he earlier on has choose to place his money into Saveplus instead (which my sis did) he wouldn't be invited for this months promo.

Will consider myself mid-risk. Am retiring soon so will depend on PIMCO for supplementary monthly income.

If you are mid risk and no need for the money in the mid-long term (ie at least 3-5 years)

I really think that you can and should put this amount into equities such as the 3 banks of Sg (ard5% dividends) Sheng Song (3.8%) or if not, S-REITs which there are some which are still at good prices and can offer as high as 7%.

There is of course the chance of the share prices dropping, but then again if you can hold the shares for long, the prices will recover, esp the Sg banks.

u only tracking how many time the interest is credited per month. how about the % interest?
The price of saveplus is almost always changing, mostly getting more expensive. Unless u2 always buy it at the same time and amount, his monthly return % won't be the same as yours.

Eg. The % return on may 2025 for a person who bought $1k in 2023 is higher than bought in Apr 2025.

U mention >3% as indicated, it shows 2.6% in the app.

This marketing guidance/ indication >3% by Maribank was months ago. If you want to know the latest 4 week return, just open the app. It is ~ 2.60% now.
