I believe their data is correct. If they say 2.6% last 4 weeks it is exactly so. The percentage is fluctuating. But nothing for them to lie about. I only calculated once during my initial deposit month and it was accurate.

Years ago we used to chat at Maybank and Standchart esavers. Now you only frequent Mari. So you only put at Mari these days?
Maybank and esaver promo only for 2 mths and have additional terms. I lazy so I put all my savings in saveplus since Apr 2025. As long as more than savings 1.88% I ok, I don't monitor my mthly return %.

You're the expert here, can help me with this. I was googling what is the max cap one can place in Saveplus and this the result i gotten.

"The maximum amount you can save in a Mari Savings Account with MariBank is S$100,000. This limit applies to the total amount you can deposit into the account. MariBank also has a SavePlus investment option, which has a maximum deposit limit for bonus returns calculations. The maximum Bonus Returns you can receive is S$40, which corresponds to a maximum Incremental Investment of S$50,000 in the Lion-MariBank SavePlus fund. "

Iirc Saveplus can put more than 100k but i can't remember the cap. But this reply from google suggest only 50k?

Promo cap is incremental $50k. Normal saveplus no cap.

Yup the current promo (known as Bonus Returns) is additional $8 reward for every $10K into SavePlus. Thus maximum of $40 reward for the $50K deposit into SavePlus. Those qualified for the promo would have received notification from the app that you are enrolled.

There's no cap to your Lion-MariBank SavePlus purchase. But of course a maximum of $100K holding in your MariBank saving account to buy the SavePlus or Income.

Ok thanks. Cos it's quite hard to check on the interest earned in Mari.

So in theory, deposit 100k into savings account, use all to buy SavePlus, savings balance=0 Saveplus=100k, repeat and do again, savings balance=0 Saveplus=200k and can keep repeat. Is that correct?

tap mari invest in the app, u can see total return.
monthly return = total return (last day of current mth) - total return (last day of last mth)
u need to manually record and calc.
however, this is an investment, not savings acct. capital and return not guaranteed. monitoring the mthly return can be misleading.

Not that hard actually. From @wutawa 's pic, you click into "Mari Invest Saveplus" it'll show you the long list of interest earned month by month. I actually test added up for a month during initial days and calculated and it was correct. Those days my amount leave in there was consistent so it is easier to calculate. As this is public info. I don't think Maribank will shoot their own foot by displaying inaccurate info. They are regulated by MAS. No reason for them to report inaccurate info isn't it?

Maribank do provide combined e statement every calendar month for the Savings Account and Save Plus. You just need to record the data manually in excel (or whatever software you know how to use) and analyze the returns whatever way you like. Is this considered hard? :)

Yes correct. Take note of the followings..

Although I am not vested, it is ok to put more than $10k or even more than $100k in mari invest.

If u need money urgently, u can withdraw $10k 1st then the rest immediately. U will get the rest on the next business day.

If u need to withdraw more than $100k, it is better to withdraw to an external bank. Mari savings daily transfer limit is $150k.

if you submit your sell order before 7.30am, you will get your money on the same day before 6pm.

if you are going to sell more than 100k, do remember to select a bank account to deposit to instead of Mari bank as they will not accept more than 100k balance.

4.18% (yield) - 6.56% (payout) = -2.38%
yes, its market value has dropped 2.38% since last year. u may reinvest your payouts to increase your investment market value.
i dont invest in mari income because it has average risk. its market price is volatile. its yield %, payout % not guaranteed. saveplus is much more stable and has instant withdrawal.

I gained. My NAV were in range of 9.42 - 9.45. The current market NAV is 9.49. Bought mostly after Trump announced the Liberation Day.

Total bought $40K, now valued $40,516. Monthly payout is $218.59.
So estimated is ((40516-40000)+(218.59x12)) / 40000 = 7.85%

As there's rumour Fed will reduce interest rate, that would usually mean Bonds Funds NAV will increase. Anyone going to buy more bond funds (such as PIMCO GIS Fixed Income) before Fed rate cuts?
