Went to friend's house, I think his is Sony 70 or 75". Can't get used to it the proportion seems wrong and the sound from the TV speakers is very muffled for some reason.

Not even a fair fight.

A "lousy" 86-100 inch Prism+ TV will win a $4000 UST 4K projector with decent projection screen hands down. Especially during daylight in normal bto living room.

Of course if u have a dedicated viewing room in controlled lighting condition is a different beast altogether.

My friend stays alone, put projector ok la. He can blackout the house anytime.

Those with family, kids want to watch baby shark and what not, projector not practical la.

My surround sound setup also become white elephant. Only when family not around then can use which is rare.

This is also true :ROFLMAO:

My 86" now exclusively used to watch my son's Blippi and Babyshark on Youtube.

But he loves it so it's okay.

Careful if you're living in new bto.
100" will not fit into both lifts AND staircase. Even without the box.
First hand experience (y)
Max is 86"

Yes. I was there personally to help. There were 4 of us.
New bto staircases are enclosed.
Had to refund and get a smaller size.

I suggest if u really want, to recce first. Don't want others to suffer the disappointment i felt :ROFLMAO:

Thats why moi said earlier, BTOs are pigeon-hole and are built as "compact" as possible

But new BTO owners think they moving into some mansion or what and neber think first before moving stuffs in

why not just get a good projector, esp those from JVC. Approx 15k then get a 150 inch screen. i have a 180 inch screen and its like a true movie experience.

Yup. 86 no problem with the lift.
It was Prism+ btw.

That's why I complained to them, their ads and website bluff pple one. "Simi hdb no problem". In the ads they showed the installer carrying without the box la. Use crane la. :ROFLMAO:

As usual rah, big cannons first

Later when on-site when do the delivery, then "see how"

no point getting a big ass screen if your viewing distance is near

for me,my living room quite big so i use short throw projector, about 90 inch
