hahaha 100+ 200+ is that considered good queue number ?

oooo he/she is super lucky. the smallest number my friends had is 7. haha.

To me if 600 units offered & you are in the top 200(1st one -third) is considered good #
Taking into account some might drop out of Q and others will select units that you are not in favour cheers!

I am not too sure if you guys or gals know.

Bendemeer Light and McNair Tower are combined under 1 single ballot system.

If you are balloting for 4-room, there are only 476 4-rooms in McNair Towers and 412 4-rooms in Bendemeer Light.

Which means if you are balloting for McNair Tower and got yourself queue number 477 and the 476 balloted applicants before you chosen McNair Tower, you have no choice but LL have to consider or take Bendemeer Light.

Any of you dunno about this?

We regret to inform that you are unsuccessful in your application for a 4-Room flat in Sengkang. Nevertheless, if you are a first-timer applicant, this attempt will be taken into account in our assessment to accord additional chance to you when you submit another application in the future for a flat in a non-mature estate under the Build-To-Order exercise.

at point of selection applicants can choose units frm either MT or BL As both btos units are open for selection in this exercise for KW obviously if all units in MT were taken one could either select a unit in BL or don't select a unit at all

I thot the ballot mixes all regarding of first/second timers? Meaning that ballot #1-#100 could all be second timers but since there are only 5 units allocated to second timers, only 5 out of the 100 can get the flat. So if #1-#5 reject the selection for whatever reason, #6-#10 will have a chance to get their flat. Once all 5 flats are taken, all the second timers will be removed from queue even though their ballot number is < #100. Then those first timer with > #100 will get to choose. This is the impression I got. Please correct if i am wrong.

the flat allocation is only to enable ur chances of getting a good q no.... they (HDB) do not stop the remaining 2nd timers within range to select a unit.

for eg:

200 units - 5% or 10 ppl from 2nd timers group, even if there are 25 2nd timers from Q 1-200, they r all eligible to select a unit (in the event they do not reject the selection) Balloting is all about luck!!! for my case in the Mar SBF, 1 unit is allocated for 2nd timers but there are more than 1 2nd timers selecting a unit... so the units allocation is not as strict as the enthic quota....

Questioned HDB on this but no reply yet from them....

Your queue position for a 3-Room flat in Kallang / Whampoa is 130. We will provide you with the flat selection details such as the flat list and brochure when we invite you to select a flat. The selection exercise has been tentatively scheduled to start in Jun / Jul 2012, subject to change.

So those who are aiming McNair Towers, what happens if you do not get to choose McNair Towers or the units available to you are really bad,,,

Will you consider Bendemeer Light? :s12::s12::s12:
