Last Queue Number invited for selection of a 3-Room flat in Kallang / Whampoa under the May 2012 BTO exercise as at 11 Jul 2012 : 00012

At the moment only 4 units are booked.
That means 8 dropouts on the 1st day itself?

No, 8 drop-outs since last Friday when selection for 3-room started. :s12:

ya, everyone who selected BL today took 109 haha.

109 is cursed...

If you ever read Chinese Fengshui, 109 is directly facing the cross traffic junction.

People staying in such flat will be prone to road accidents, especially at the cross traffic junction in front.

:s13: its actually ok to be "facing" the cross junction... what u mentioned actually applied to those living in the area located near a cross junction.. correct me if i m wrong...
therefore, if u go to the actually site of BL, there is still a distance away from the cross junction...
Besides, with the view of city landscape, those buying there will be staying at home most of the time. how to be prone to accident. unless plane crashed down, hahaaa..

The distance is not far... You take a closer look at the map and the actual site ;)

109 is "near" the cross junction which you also agree with me.

They are not aware of the noise level too... Good luck to them too. I rather choose somewhere inner... at least not so bad,.

yup... its near but i suppose still not to the extend of being in the so-called "danger zone" as mentioned in fengshui.... anyway, sooner of later the view of city might or might not be blocked as the plot of land located diagonally opposite 109 near the junction is empty. i guess its meant for future residential usage. Buyers juz have to take note of this and dun grumble abt it in the future :)

as for the sound level, i can still take it personally as i am living at mid floor, facing PIE expressway for the past many years since i was born. i am immune to it, hahaa... but still 109 is out for mi....

is there an empty land diagonally opposite 109? I remember there are only eminent plaza and shop houses.

unless you are talking about the empty land with petrol station. yes it will be expanding in future with high rise buildings.

I prefer not to listen to all these fengshui tips. I think alot of it is open to interpretation. For every bad prediction made using Fengshui, I'm pretty sure there are many more good predictions made using Fengshui. But human tendency is to only listen to the bad stuff.

So why put yourself in more unnecessary dilemna? Just go with what you like and your gut feel :D

If you check the 2008 URA Master Plan you can see that there isn't really anything nearby high plot ratio that would block their view. The empty plot of land opposite near the ESSO is meant for business usage with a plot ratio of 2.5. My guess is it will go no higher than 24 floors.
