I wonder y so many ppl drop out.. dunno isit becoz of the 5% downpayment in cash for those hit 30 yrs old which they have to pay 4-6mths after their selection....hmmmmmm

Do you mean when the couple hits 30 we would need to pay the 5% downpayment in cash?
Lets say only the husband is 30 and the wife is not, still applicable?
Also, is it at the time of selection of the unit or when we take the keys?

I can safely said even the most expensive home in Singapore don't have all the amenities mention within walking distance

that is more than 400m to sheng siong. I think u read the map wrongly. Only thing nearby is the lavender food court . Which is gonna be enbloc soon. Mt is the one near the sheng siong. bl has no cityview soon with enbloc of hoanam n eminent plaza. However it has its pro as between two major road n bustop.

your first payment of 10% + stamp duty will add up to around 67K.

mine's also in the indian and others category and my my appt is mid oct.. im going for a 4 room because ive got kids and also their schools are nearby from kw.. i prefer BL and high floor but looks like i'll have to take whatever comes my way..*sigh* hehe..

Enbloc? What's the plot ratio for that land? Hopefully it's a new shopping mall!

I doubt will be shopping ctr. Most likely soho or shops at lvl 1. Enbloc still not confirmed. Rumors. however if i m the land lord i sure sell coz area is prime.

I will strongly urge people who got the q number to choose one unit even it is not a choice units. Bendemeer lights is a once in a life time opportunity,people who drop out are missing the following

2 mrt within 300m walking distance.
2 Sheng Siong oulet(mcnair and jalan besar)within 200m for cheap grocery
Cheap and good food at bendemeer market and lavender sq
5-10 min drive to orchard,novena,city hall and bugis
5 mins walk to jalan Besar stadium with swimming pool
A chance to have a million dollar view at half the price(for some)
A sep school(hong wen)
KFC,singpost and banks within walking distance at towner.
A nice prata shop near towner road
Beach road scissor rice
Mustafa and city sq shopping centre

You think it over is bendemeer lights better than clementi or Ang mo kio or even bukit merah. I would think so...

I am old snake in the area,I dont think anyone is more qualified to be more knowledgeable in my own area
