Is it? Didn't know as well..
Start from 1 June. Transfer in tomorrow :)

Me too! I just went to see the TnCs. Apparently, the credit card spending not just restricted to Maybank Platinum Visa, it also includes Maybank Horizon Visa spending.

How Is the bonus interest credited? I only see interest credit in 31 may but it's way lower than what the interest should be for the saveup criterias

yeah same experience initially. went to check with Maybank and they explained that there's 2 interest payments. end month is your account base interest. the bonus interest for save up programme is paid middle of the following month

Just changed to SaveUp account last week, the Interest Rate show .25%.

Will this be updated accordingly once 3 products or services are in? Thanks.

maybe you get to see the bonus interest only in August since your Giro applications take time too.
if not, earliest should be in July.

New to this and need some guidance please:

About Salary Crediting - my company pays from overseas and the incoming salary is not registered as GIRO. What other ways to fulfill this condition?

When I opened the account, the bank told me there are 'workarounds' which people setup regular monthly wires from another bank account to Maybank SaveUp. How is this done please? Can someone please share details?

Many thanks!

Oic, showing me 0.3125%. I guess this is just the base interest rate. I got the bonus interest for two months already

Base interest? Then why mine is mere 0.25%? :(

Then how r we going to know that the bonus interest started? :s11:

0.3125% if above 50K. The bonus interest now giving to first 60K.
If you fulfil all the conditions, then you will get the bonus interest.
I think it is similar to some other banks, you won't see it if you fulfil the conditions until you get the bonus interest.

if you're worried, try a month (and fulfill the requirements) first, don't transfer the funds over yet

then end of month call their customer service to check if you managed to fulfill the requirements, if OK then next month transfer the funds
