Is the firmware working fine?

Decided not to connect to Singtel fibre. Waiting for M1 to come install the ONT and will connect to M1 instead. Thanks.

So in this case which firmware I should install?

Hey just curious, what is the difference between this model and the rt-ac5300?
Only noticed that this has 4 more lan ports and the "rubber ring"...

GT-AC5300 has gaming software to optimise gameplay on LAN in which traffic for gameplay is optimised over other priorities.. RT-AC5300 is just a normal router with WTFast client only.

Faster processor too. Boot up is very fast.

no prob, from 868L to this is like night and day! :s13:

Dlink Dir-868L is fast enough for most users, few client devices can reach even 867 Mbps.

This is another over-hyped router from Asus waiting for users to beta test it.

Just curious.

How does the SPI for this router compare to standalone firewall equipment in Juniper SSG and SRX series ?

And could it support VLAN tagging ?

I am having problem with my GT-AC5300.

on Singtel Mio Fibre 1G plan.

Lan internet is okay. Once i start using WIFI with my I7/Samsung tab s, the router will reboot itself as seen from the Front status LEDs. After rebooting , my Wifi SSID will not be detected by my I7 or Samsung tab. Using Lan 1 as my IPTV port.

Added: Using the latest 10397 firmware.

Any help is appreciated.

No issue on my side. Did you use the link provided by maylyn or check firmware from the router itself?
