Hi, i got the following error when i plug in my USB.

It happens to both my ext HDD, USB2.0 and USB3.0 also has the same issue. But i can FTP/UPNP/Samba w/o any issue.
Btw, im on the latest Asus Offical Firmware 3.0.0.4.376_1663
Is this a bug?



the log is as follow:

Format to ext3/4 or able to format back to ntfs, will it matters?
Cause i just unplug the Samsung USB, and plug it back, its showing ok now.

Just did a downgrade of firmware and the issue is gone.....most properly will wait for the next firmware before i upgrade

CPU core temp of 92 degrees too hot? I had a unit of the netgear R8000 but wireless performance for my apps weren't fantastic hence I fall back to the ac68.

Looking for some help here guys. Just set up my AC68U and all was fine with the initial process, speeds are great. But this weird thing is happening, my iPhone and iPad will occasionally not be able to connect to the Internet even though the wifi bars are at max. This applies to both 2.4ghz and 5ghz. It usually requires me to wait 2-3 minutes or off/on the application I'm using (youtube, instagram) for it to work again.

Just for reference, my ac68u (running on latest asus firmware) is wireless bridged to my n56u (running on padavan) on 5ghz. Anyone else having the same issues?

RT-N10,RT-N15,RT-N56U,RT-AC56U,RT-AC56S,RT-N66U,RT-AC66U,RT-AC68U and RT-AC87U.

Now at final phase of testing.

If your cfe is already 1.0.1.6 or higher, there is no point running that utility, since your ddr clk should be 666 already. If your cfe is 1.0.1.1, you can run that util to change the ddr freq from 533 to 666MHz.

Just got this router quite disappointed by the 5ghz performance... previously using AC66U i can get for AC 5ghz 240mbps for speedtest.. now can only get 50mbps to 180mbps ... not stable.... using latest asus 3.0.0.4.376 1663..

going to try merlin tomorrow. hope it dun disappoint me... Read many reviews the AC68U 5ghz performance is much better then AC66U

Just try merlin latest 376.47.. now speed is much better then AC66U. Asus yr official firmware sucks..

asus firmware speedtest 77ping 180mbps for lan, AC wifi 44 to 70 ping speed range from 55 to 180mbps..

Merlin firmware 2ms ping 212mbps for lan, AC wifi 260mbps, 4ms ping..

Most important is the wifi range for AC is wider

I am thinking of buying this router or the ac66u.

I would like to know if the speed of my ac client devices need to match the speeds of these routers in order to take advantage of them.

Going by the relative lack of ac adapters with such speeds, I am doubtful.

Please enlighten me as I understand my motherboard (ROG Impact) ac hardware only supports up to AC1200.
