No offense no oyster they dare to sell so ex?There is a non-aircon coffeeshop stall at Blk 443 Clementi (near the bus interchange). Sell vegetarian oyster egg omelette at $11. Felt disappointed. Very small portion and the mock oyster is super rubber feel during biting.
I suggest: Tempeh - nutritious and easy to prepare. The steam + season toss method:
I cook every 2 weeks.
If 吃不习惯 can try the 锅贴 method.
1- Add oil fry a bit when bottom is slightly caramelized, add water to 1/2 of tempeh. close lid.
2- Same like in video when water evaporates, spray cooking oil on top. then flip
3- repeat 1~2
Result: top and bottom crispy, middle is steamed
Can try with grated raw Japanese mountain yam and chopped ladyfingers to mix with natto. Add some ponzu and it’s flavorful enough.Haven't tried tempeh before but it does look interesting. As I watch this clip, I am reminded that I can actually buy natto from don don donki and eat with my plain rice, I actually like natto very much.
Yeah good idea, they are all sticky sticky so it should be quite a chewy delicacy when mixed together. Can try with grated raw Japanese mountain yam and chopped ladyfingers to mix with natto. Add some ponzu and it’s flavorful enough.
If you can take raw egg, can also add into it. Else use soft boiled egg, should work too.Yeah good idea, they are all sticky sticky so it should be quite a chewy delicacy when mixed together.

My fridge now got lots of flavour ler. If not I will try making some.i'll try your cooking method. i make my own tempeh at home. traditionally tempehs are actually made using black soy. When fresh, they actually smell amazing. but when put in fridge will lose the fragrance.

sourdough is something i plan to commit to when i have the extra time. My cousin makes very good sourdough, once i'm ready i will ask her to teach me. At the moment, still need to buy sourdough. I currently make kombucha as it is easier but it seems like kombucha is really bad for stomach for long term drinking. Too acidic. i've seen people creating bread using kombucha culture also, which is kinda amazing. My fridge now got lots of flavour ler. If not I will try making some.
Cos I also cultivate different sourdough.
Hope they dun fight aginst each other.
Maybe when I succeed in making the bread texture I want I will buy another fridge for these cultures.
