I guess u r refering to the triangle at the left corner on webpage...its a back button n yes redu e screen size.

99.9% sure it will be U (Unicom) version.

Based on past experiences with Meizu phones and even with M1 Note (I had for a few days then i moved on to other phones), there is no difference between U, C or I version except the fact that I version comes with pre-built google services. Which we can install it with a simple apk file.

I personally felt U version is better as it use to get the updates quite frequently.

the curve on the back helps to hold the phone better.

I had the google service install so no issue for me.
the firmware was update frm 4.2.0x to 4.2.0.3 upon unbox.
(Ota is working)

Take note the 699 is not Meizu M1 Note. It is merely Meizu Blue Charm.
Similar design but smaller and lower specs.

without it it is 5"...and with "note", its 5.5
