Hi everyone, i juz started work recently, and i realized one thing, the shirts that i bought, even though slim fit, the sleeves will be a bit loose, even though length is ok.. When i see some guys, their sleeves damn straight.. is it because they alter it? or they tailor make the shirts this way?

Also recently i bought a slim fit shirt that is slightly bigger, how much will it cost to alter it one size down? and anyplace to recommend? Thanks!

When you say the sleeves are straight, do you mean they are fitting and not loose? If so, it's possible that they were tailored.

If you want to buy branded shirts that are like 100 - 160 i think you would rather go to CYC and have it made and whats more you can choose your material and everything

No it wouldn't. tailor shirts are meant to look fitting and feel comfortable. That's why there is a small premium when you tailor shirts.

for wearing brown leather shoes. safest bet is wear brown belt and grey pants.

brown leather shoes with black pants is epic fail.

don't say that as if it's a fact. it depends on who's wearing what. have u not seen some Japanese who wear any shoe colors and still look 100x better than the others?

Where is CYC? Is tailored shirt better than branded, in terms of quality? I'm guessing tailored is a lot more expensive if you doing just 1-2 pieces right?

Tailored shirt can go as low as $50. So it might not always be more expensive to tailor your shirt. All depends on material of the tailored shirt. This is the same for off the rack shirts. They come in different prices. This is depending on the materials, but probably more importantly, the brands.

brown shoes to match with what color pants?

hi all,

recently gotten myself a lighter-brown type of dress shoes from rad russel. am looking for some slim-fit pants and long sleeve shirts to match. what color for the pants shd i go for to match my new dress shoes? and i dun want those pants that look too uncle, or those pants that are baggy at the foot area, prefer slim fit ones.

Will a light-brown / coffee-brown or a navy / sky blue type of pants match my new brown shoes?

GIve some recommendations pls!

You can look at light coloured pants. Grey or checkered (think Burberry) type. Most importantly you must have a matching belt and watch to compliment the look.

light brown shoes are very hard to match, esp tan shoes

best bet would be light beige pants

the color of my dress shoes look like the one on the right, not the exact same rad russel model; couldnt find the exact one.

i was thinking of light grey, light beige or light blue (sky blue) pants. I am more towards the sky blue pants. what do u guys think? go or no go?

Also, anyone knows where to buy just pure shoe laces? feel like getting thinner laces like the one in the picture. My new dress shoes came with rather "fat" laces machiam like those on sneakers, a bit dun like them and feel they dun look good.

Just wondering if pleated male working pants is ok for someone mid 20s? I didn't know the difference till only recently.

I'm average built I frequently see other guys( usually thin guys) wearing those super flat working pants that almost show their bulge? Did a search and found the difference in flat front and pleated working pants
