Vivifi Roam Value plan at $7.70 gives around double data, talktime and 2GB roaming data to 6 countries.
Value must also take into account the user's needs too.

No point offering 200GB when the user only uses like 20GB.

Those of u who used the free sim mail service can I check with u?

Is the sim activated when the sim is delivered or we have to ownself activate the card? If we want the billing cycle to start on 1st then the earliest time to activate is 23rd rite?
Hi, how do you get free sim mail service? I thought they charge $15.26 for delivery as per their website?

Giving many local data is not meaningful already

Now is compete who can add in more overseas dataroam
Indeed that is the case, but it still goes back to the user's need. So in this case, whether he/she needs to go overseas regularly.

Anyone on the Starter plan also saw a 50GB add-on activated yesterday (24/10)?

I went and check in app, it is stated $0 (free add-on).

I don't think so.

I received another SMS from them yesterday informing me about the 50GB add-on. No mentions of promotion leh.

In app, under Usage:
BASE PLAN DATA
xx MB of unlimited data used

LOCAL ADDON DATA
xx MB of 50GB data used

Under My Service Management, all the way at the bottom:
Data 50GB
Activated on 24/10/24
$0

wow so existing user auto upized like eight

well this could be true (i haven't added on yet), but before, inside the app, under VAS icon, i have this:

Data 6GB TO UNLIMITED

But recently was changed to

Data 4G UNLIMITED

i doubt i can finish the 6GB, so moreso 56GB, hence doesn't matter much.
but they should put somewhere official in writing to obtain additional 50GB then do those steps.

Came here for this, couldnt find anything on the site

Wonder how long the 50GB will last 🤔

If used in tethered mode or in a home router setting, it is indeed quite a good value if you don't use more than 200GB of data per month and not ping sensitive. Can do away with fibre broadband AND digital voice line at the same time with that one SIM.

The other day I was half jokingly telling my family of 5 that we should just get a 300gb sim card to replace out broadband plan.

What is the minimum stay period for Zero1? After I ported in Zero1 starter plan at $7.06, Vivifi released a $7.70 plan and soon after Zym released similar $7.77 plan. Both come with roaming data and 100gb local data while Zero1 starter plan does not have roaming data and local data 56gb.

The minimum subscription period for Zero1 is one month. You can terminate your service after the first month

You must give Zero1 seven days' notice by 3 PM, before the end of your bill cycle

You can email your termination request to yes@zero1.sg. You can't withdraw a termination request once it's submitted.
If you miss the 7-day deadline, you can only terminate your service at the end of your next billing cycle. You won't receive a refund for any unused period, and any accrued benefits or promotions will no longer be eligible.

I am not so sure about the 50 GB add on

it suddenly slowed to a crawl beyond 6.99 GB for me yesterday in GV Max Vivocity cinema around 3pm Yesterday

need to see when I next leave the house without WiFi to see if it's still just as slow.

I am using the 7.06 a month basic plan.

when i was using Zero1 starter $7.06 plan

after 6GB slow to 1mbps
after 50GB slow to 0.2mbps

try to port out in first month they reject say id mismatch. (despite being same id)

try to termimate they tell me i still need pay for 2nd cycle, even though they send me the page say minimum 1 month period only.

frustrating considering there is better plan at similar price range with generous roamimg as well
Normally for these mvnos, it's 30 days or 1 month minimum period.

But you can't port out on the 30th day, you can only port out after 31st day, which technically it's 2nd month they will hold your account and don't release your number until you pay for your second month bill.

in summary, just treat all as 2 month commitment.

Ya for a few times i just treat the 2nd month’s as a throw away costs.

i can never time the port out so accurately.
so just pay the 1 month and move forward.

agree 100%. i treat the 2nd month/cycle as sunk cost.

Better to port out earlier and have reserve time (aka "wasted time"), instead of trying to maximise the 2nd month, then kenna some hiccup during porting out and hence delayed, and end up rolling over into the 3rd month

the basic $7 plan not bad, having 56GB to unlimited.
Unlimited is gimmick, 57th GB will be 1Mbps, afterwhich it will slow down until it hit their secret quota and stop altogether. Tried both Zero1 and MyRepublic, same tactic. MyRepublic i think is 5 GB max given at ard 300kpbs.

Yeah I remember i used to have their legacy $8 plan, can't remember the price, it's like unlimited data after 8GB.

That plan was decommissioned many many years ago before the likes of circles

As in, write in to terminate?

If port in from. Zero1 to another Telco, not auto terminate on successful port in (to other provider)?
