Thinking of porting in from vivifi. Should i expect a similar level of service since both are piggybacking singtel?

Network quality yes.
Service, not likely. In terms of responsiveness I have only good words to say for Zym's techs though. That one time I sought their help in troubleshooting, I was messaging a real person.

Dear XXX,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Regarding VoLTE, we will be implementing VoLTE based on Singtel's protocol, which will commence from November 24th.

Please note that as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), we lease the network from Singtel and follow their protocols and timelines for such implementations.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Yours Sincerely,
XXX
Zero1 Team

I thought Singtel will be retiring its 3G network progressively from November 2024.?

That means it will be still available until 30 Nov 2024!

What a load of crap from Zero1 reply. So ZYM have special agreement with Singtel ? I had terrible network speeds on MRT when i last subscribed to zero1, ported out after 1 month. YouTube videos can only play if set to 360p :(

Maybe Zym pay more money to SingTel to implement VoLTE first.

Yes, peak hour. On my current network, at least can at least stream 720p or higher depending how crowded the train is. But this was 1 year ago, have no idea how is the current network quality.

wanted to change to Zero1, then realized they using the 5G NSA network.. guess i will just stick with Singtel.

and for some reason, the zero1 promo plans are not applicable for those porting in from Singtel...

All trying to attract "new" customers from other telco mah. All these MVNO using Singtel infrastructure no count as new.
