Tried this just now. On batt I change the speed to 50% and managed to squeeze 10% for 2hrs of notes usage. But it's just light notes usage 50% on idle mode. If we want to push harder maybe can get the 8-9hrs. Tomorrow I test. Lol

Last night on 50% processing power managed to squeeze 2 hrs of non stop youtube viewing of 1080p music MV at 100% brightness.
Power dropped by 40%

Anyone know where I can buy the body skin locally.

As the back is light grey in color, it can get dirty easily if your hand is dirty.

Looking at something like this:

Just noticed the casing top part obstruct the air from the device (top half edge all round has perforation for cooling. Do you think it will block the vents and affect temperature?

actually those who want to get casing, better watch out for heat dissipation... heating up is a problem with SP3 and putting an additional case or skin will just make the heat harder to get rid of...

btw mine is i5 256gb version.

and adix say his screen protector is back in stock. if interested, can go check with him too.

if you look at the last picture at the amazon website you can see that there are cut outs for the air vents.

I have sold the case to a bro on hwz because I prefer to use a sleeve instead (at least for now...who says only women are fickle )

Case is definitely a problem. But skin may not because it's thin

Well, not all SP3 have heating issues .. my sp3 don't have heat issues.. i have tried using it flat against my sleeve, the whole sp3 back against a insulator.. after using it for a couple of hours. The back just feel nice warm . Its not hot and i didn't notice the fan at all.

i3 TDP 11.5W and SDP 6W

Anyway, it is true, case does build up heat. So do try to set ur sp3 to low power mode usage while using in the case.. if you want to play games, compile ur long code or encoding long videos, do remove the sp3 from the case as most i5/i7 are just too hot for the cooling system to handle.. maybe can try to under volt n limit max processor %. But if all u do is just using sp3 to read ebooks or surf some websites.. case should be fine.

Just got the new batch of Clasy Glass Screen Protector from Adix82. Its definitely very good quality to say the least.

Here's the new batch...still not perfect but according to Adix82, the dimension has been "slightly" enlarged...but to me, there's no difference if I did a comparison with the one below.
