my apology. after re-reading and trying out, i cannot pan as well. i suspect you need to click and hold your mouse to pan.

maybe you can consider installing a virtual mouse apps on your phone.

Cannot...when you open a saved the map, it seems that it only capture a screenshot of that area. I go see whether I can find that problem on youtube

on the phone? This is a problem I encounter on the surface pro 3. If you use it as a tablet with the touchscreen function, you cannot pan, but if you connect to a mouse, the problem is solved but it should should be the way imo. This does not happen on my tab

Just got the i5 258gb sp3 today. Is it just me or is the screen colour warmer than usual? The whites appear slightly yellowish to my eyes.. Anyone else's too?

should have no problem. get a Y-cable and connect the double side to the hub.

Thanks for your information, so this work without the need to plug in external power supply for bigger usb device like external DVD drive ?:D

samtang solved it for you.

IE Metro mode allows you to pan and zoom the map you create, but Chrome Metro mode can't.

Both Windows mode of IE and Chrome, doesn't allow you to pan and zoom.

Try opening google map from Metro. i.e. at Metro screen do a search "map". Then look for google map. Somehow it opens the desktop map. Open your map. Can pan.
If I open Chrome from desktop, then Apps for maps, I also cannot pan my created maps.

Wah sibuey pekcek now I just bought my SP3 but I am having difficulties finding cases + accessories because idk how to use taobao...

Anyone got good guides or lobang. I trying to find bluetooth mouse because the bloody SP3 only comes with 1 USB3.0 port & tempered glass SP because people keep saying that clear/matt hinders with the stylus and a case that allows me to use the kickstand

I've also been trying to find a cheap bluetooth mouse to no avail :(

Just got a USB 3.0 hub with RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter.

Definitely a cheap and good alternative for the dock.

The network speed is quite good as well.

Though the network status shows 1Gb and I am having 200Mbps internet, I am happy with the speed.

BTW, has anyone managed to get do port forwarding for your surface? previously, i turned my firewall off. I am able to get the 'green light' for my BitComet. I then pinpointed that BitComet wasn't added to the firewall exception. I then added BitComet to the exception manually, I am still unable to clear the amber light.

Can anyone help on this?

Well obviously port forwarding should not be done on the PC, it happens in the router configuration. Have you tried utorrent ?

the only case i know where you can use your kickstand can be bought off amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00OKSFSEQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?qid=1419481028&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70

better check the review before making your purchase amd I don't think it's eligible for FSSG.

as for the lack of USB ports, you can consider getting a hub which I posted previously. i think there is no lack of bluetooth mouse choices in the market, can get either MS or Logitech mouse.

bro, thanks for your help.

managed to solve it yesterdy by running BitComet as administrative user. apparently it's the windows that preventing the BitComet from adding itself to the Firewall exception. reinstall it as administrative user, and the port is open.

thanks!

battery percentage

Hi guys, i just bought a surface 3 pro yesterday and would like to check how we can get a live tile that displays the battery percentage? i know it is possible on the windows phone but couldnt find one in the app store.

Also is there any way to determine the layout of the livetiles on the surface pro? they seem to be arranged via a preset order.

many thanks in advance

actually you shouldn't buy a Surface Pro with the thought that you wanna play games on it. its not a gaming machine and will probably play at low fps at the lowest settings.

i play telltale walking dead series on it. it plays fine but you can already see it struggling.

I am not a die hard gamer, just sometimes if bore will just play one or two match, as long ascan play is good enough for me, unlike my current 5 year old note cannot play at all even for FIFA2012 :D , thanks for your advice :s12:

eh same. I also playing Walking Dead season 2. Cos of steam sales! LOL. I mean it plays fine. decent frame rate. but you can see the machine is trying to keep up. I also on a i5/256 model.

so I'm doubtful you will have a good experience with FIFA 2014. :p

Anyway, just don't hold high hopes for great experience playing games. And if you happen to get good experience, it's a bonus! :)

If for some reason you opt for Windows 7/8/8.1 32bit, there's no way to go above 4GB. You need to install 64bit version.
