What logic? You mean like iPad because it is tablet you expect low battery life? Than what is the logic of putting a high power CPU on the Pro in the first place? The Pro is a office productivity tools and targeted to road executive that need a full blown processor. If short battery life might as well buy a large laptop that cost less put in office that need AC all the time.
What logic?
the logic is...
u trying to ask a desktop equivalent computing power machine to be like a tablet power..
do u know i5 and a tablet processor is 2 different thingy and consume different power and give out different output too?
even a ultrabook
something that is as light as a surface pro....
if u found something that is having LONGER battery life..
does it have a touch screen? is it a same price? even have a digitizer?
same weight?
if you compare to a tablet
can your tablet do what this machine or any i5 tablet do?
a 4 hours battery life for an i5 is considered decent and average
if you want anything like 6-7 hours..
look at most of the design.. it is not as light, it is not a touch screen, it is MUCH expensive...
so what you asking is not much logic....
give you manageable weight by giving average battery life.. complain
give you LONG battery life but heavy like hell tablet,... complain this too heavy as tablet...
that's why no logic...
battery in any mobile computing is the heaviest item.. even on the phone...
