If you have AMEX Platinium card, the best place to buy is Harvey Norman with its 10x reward, otherwise Challenger with the extra gift for ALL pre-orders.

It should hit the store on 19 Nov in Singapore based on the info in HWZone...so who's getting it? Should I get the M Core version since I'm not gonna do very graphic intensive or play games on the SP 4Pro. Any thoughts?

The sweet spot seems to be either the Core i5/4G RAM/128GB SSD or Core i5/8G RAM/256GB SSD. But apparently the Core M may have tremendous battery life.

I personally would prefer Core i5/8G RAM/128GB SSD since I am more concern about speed than storage, a lot of stuff are kept on cloud these days anyway. But this configuration is not available.

the price difference is about $400 yes? Quite a premium price for 128gb ssd and 4gb more ram

I think for light user, Core i5 with 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD should be enough. My old ASUS Zenbook and Sony VIO are all on 4GB RAM and 128SSD, good enough for me, but I am only using them while traveling.

The price difference is quite substantial between 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM... :(
Still need to purchase the typecover keyboard some more...

Tbh, if you can leave with a smaller screen and positioned kick stand and not doing too intensive stuff can go for surface 3. :s13: don't see atom processor, its pretty workable tbh. not to mention its lighter as well.

Also do note the SSd is PCIE NVMe ssd. Also RAM might be DDR4...so might explain the bigger price difference between skus across SP4 as compared to SP3

Would get the core M version, reviews seems to recommend i5 but personally I would pair i5 with 8gb ram, which increases the price tremendously. If uses are light a surface 3 or the entry level surface pro 4 would be the sweet spot for most people.

If you want to save some money, you can buy under education/student scheme which could save you $200 for i5/8GB/256SSD version.

Is Suface Pro 4 selling well at all?
