Thanks for reply. I got a free type cover + free 1 yr office subscription + laptop sleeve (when using DBS card to pay) @ Suntec Harvey Norman.

People can go there and look for deal. The sales person very friendly

PS. I bought a i7 256gb even though the free type cover was only for the i5 promo, can try talking to the sales because thats how he got me the free type cover

Already facing problems like defective battery, overheat, slow respond and one line of defective pixels on my screen. I have factory reset my laptop a few times but still slow respond. Only install program AVG, DSM 5.0 and play internet game.

Just came back from window shopping and had a look at both SP3 and Yoga 2. Feel that both are quite close except the followings :

SP3 Yoga 2
1) i7 4650U vs i7 4500U
2) 1 usb 3 vs 1 usb 3 & 1 usb 2
3) Intel 5000 vs Intel 4400
4) 800g vs 1.39kg
5) $2138 vs $2099

Will be installment if purchase but SP3 price is without type cover. Student price online is cheaper but not sure if my daughter (Pri 6) eligible?

pls visit the ms website - they are having a promotion bundle with the type cover.

Also, HM has a promotion. Looks like that is even better than the MS promotion.

By buzzing you mean the fan sound? I will test it tonight when i get home.

edit:tested. the fan sound is there, but it doesn't increase in sound when I lift it from the table.

You might want to discuss with the sales person on giving you additional stuff. You can always say you saw in the forums the promotion you see. In my experience, calling is a sure fire way to get zero additional offers. You should visit the Harvey Norman store near you and talk to the sales person.
